Geilich Hangs Around Until the River

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Marc-Etienne McLaughlin opened to 13,000 from the hijack and was called by the cutoff and Ludovic Geilich in the big blind. The flop came {k-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{5-Clubs} and Geilich checked to McLaughlin who continued for 18,000. The cutoff folded but Geilich made the call.

The turn was the {3-Spades} and both players checked to the {8-Hearts} on the river. Geilich thought for a minute and then pushed in a bet of 27,000. McLaughlin wasted little time before sending his cards to the muck and the pot to Geilich.

Vitantonio's Stack Gets Chopped Up

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Over on the outer table, Peter Vitantonio moved all in for 112,000 in late position and William Murray reshoved for slightly more from the cutoff. Arden Cho in the big blind called to put both players at risk.

Peter Vitantonio: {5-Spades}{5-Hearts}
William Murray: {A-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}
Arden Cho: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}

The {A-Spades}{K-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} flop improved Murray and Cho, also providing a backdoor flush draw for each, while the {6-Spades} turn and {9-Hearts} river were blanks to eliminate Vitantonio and chop up his stack evenly between Murray and Cho.

Prior to this, Shi Chen had been eliminated from the very same table and replaced by Josh Pollock.
