Huber Eliminated by Obst

Level 28 : 50,000/100,000, 15,000 ante

A short-stacked Stefan Huber shoved all in for 580,000 from under the gun and Ming Xi called in middle position. Everyone folded to James Obst in the big blind, who reshoved all in for 3,800,000. Xi quickly released his hand.

Stefan Huber: {A-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}
James Obst: {A-Clubs}{K-Hearts}

The {J-Spades}{9-Hearts}{4-Clubs} flop brought no help to Huber. The {J-Hearts} on the turn brought some chop possibilities for the REG charity co-founder.

"Nine," Huber said with a hint of determination.

It didn't help, as the {3-Diamonds} on the river ended his Main Event run in 76th place. Huber received $91,610 for his accomplishment.

Saechao Wins Monster Flip With Haro

Level 28 : 50,000/100,000, 15,000 ante

Kao Saechao opened for 225,000 in middle position and Alexander Haro made it 725,000 in the big blind. Saechao shoved all in for 5,005,000.

"I don't think I can fold," Haro said with a sigh as he got the count. "Do you really wanna flip for all of it?"

Haro slammed in calling chips and turned over {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}, asking if Saechao "had it." His initial read was right, though, as it was a flip against {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}.

The {9-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{a-Diamonds} flop paired Saechao. The {3-Hearts} came on the turn and Haro said he was using his one time on the river, but the {4-Spades} arrived to secure the double.

Uemura Runs Out of Chips

Level 28 : 50,000/100,000, 15,000 ante

Paulino Uemura had previously open-shoved from under the gun to claim the blinds and antes, and soon after he was all in and at risk for 20 big blinds from the cutoff. Aram Zobian looked him up out of the big blind with the superior stack and better hand.

Paulino Uemura: {A-Spades}{J-Diamonds}
Amran Zobian: {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}

The flop came {K-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} and Zobian remarked, "You picked up some outs," before adding, "I feel the queen of spades is coming," as soon as the {3-Hearts} hit on the turn.

"Don't actually do it," Zobian told the dealer, and his wish was granted with the blank {8-Spades} river.

"Good game, man," Zobian said over to Uemura, who was eliminated in 77th place for $91,610.

River Bomb Gets Through For Shorr

Level 28 : 50,000/100,000, 15,000 ante

Shannon Shorr opened with a raise to 220,000 and he was called by Volodymyr Drokin in the cutoff as well as Hero Bercovici in the small blind and Nirath Rean in the big blind.

The flop came down {K-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{2-Clubs} and action checked to Shorr who bet 300,000. Only Bercovici called and it was on to the turn.

Both players checked on the {6-Hearts} turn and the {6-Diamonds} came on the river. There, Shorr put out a big bet of 1,200,000 and Bercovici thought for a good while before folding his hand.

Queens Bring Lady Luck for Minkin

Level 28 : 50,000/100,000, 15,000 ante
Kelly Minkin
Kelly Minkin

Kelly Minkin moved all in for 1.5 million from middle position and saw Mark Zullo reshove for 4.3 million from the cutoff. The rest of the players at the table got out the way, and Minkin saw she was in bad shape.

Kelly Minkin: {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds}
Mark Zullo: {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}

Board: {8-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{q-Spades}

Minkin, the last remaining woman in the Main Event, spiked a queen on the flop to take the lead, and her rail cheered in the ESPN Main Stage arena. The turn didn't help Zullo, and the river queen of spades only increased Minkin's hand to trips and secured her a lifeline.

On an {8-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{K-Clubs} board, Sylvain Loosli checked from the big blind to Jan Mach, who bet 1,075,000 in middle position. Loosli took his time before calling.

The river was the {4-Spades} and Loosli checked. Mach shoved all in for 2,570,000 and Loosli spent three minutes in the tank before mucking.

Xi Doubles Through Cordell

Level 28 : 50,000/100,000, 15,000 ante

After an early open to 225,000 and a button call, Ming Xi shoved for 1.3 million in the small blind. Mike Cordell reshipped in the big for about 5.7 million and that cleared out the other two players.

Mike Cordell: {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}
Ming Xi: {5-Spades}{5-Clubs}

The {k-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} flop pulled Cordell into the lead but it was all over when the {5-Diamonds} hit the turn.

"Lucky!" Xi called to his rail. "Lucky!"

The meaningless river was a {10-Hearts}.
