Faecher Eliminated by Fox

Level 27 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante
Barry Faecher
Barry Faecher

Jorden Fox and Barry Faecher got it all-in pre-flop with Faecher at risk.

Barry Faecher: {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}
Jorden Fox: {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}

The board ran out {8-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{4-Hearts} and Fox doubled up his 4,110,000 stack, leaving Faecher with just 45,000 behind.

Faecher was the big blind next hand and Fox limped the button, with Cole Miller calling in the small blind.

Miller check-folded to a bet of 200,000 on the {7-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} flop.

"I have the nuts," said Fox, showing {9-Spades}{j-Diamonds} for a jack-high straight.

"Well look at that," replied Faecher, showing {6-Spades}{9-Diamonds} for the bottom end of the straight. With almost the entire table calling for a jack for a chop, the board ran out {5-Spades}{8-Clubs} and Faecher was eliminated.

Chun Eliminated by Drokin

Level 27 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante
Philip Chun
Philip Chun

After a raise to 175,000 from Volodymyr Drokin, Phillip Chun moved all in for 1,180,000 on the button. Action folded back to Drokin who instantly called.

Volodymyr Drokin: {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}
Phillip Chun: {A-Spades}{Q-Clubs}

The board ran out {J-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}{7-Clubs} which didn't offer much help for Chun along the way. He would be eliminated in 91st place while Drokin moved over four million chips.

Rughani Survives on the River

Level 27 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Vivek Rughani raised to 450,000 from middle position, which left him with just 10,000 behind. Benjamin Pollak called in the next seat, and Frederik Jensen called in the big blind. Jensen and Rughani checked on the {5-Clubs}{7-Spades}{j-Spades} flop and Pollak bet 450,000. Jensen folded, and Rughani put his last couple of chips into the middle.

Vivek Rughani: {10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}
Benjamin Pollak: {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}

Pollak was ahead with top pair, but Rughani had outs to the straight, which he needed if he was to survive. The {5-Spades} turn kept Pollak in the lead but when the {9-Spades} peeled off on the river Rughani hit his straight for a miracle revival.

Phan Gets Paid

Level 27 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

With the pot already up to around a million, the board read {5-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{3-Spades}{Q-Hearts} and Nghia Le had a bet of 525,000 in front of him. After taking more than two minutes, Ryan Phan put in a raise to 1,465,000.

Le briefly considered it before paying it off but had to muck when Phan rolled over {K-Spades}{10-Spades} for the nut straight.

Goncalves Sees Through Cynn

Level 27 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante
Paulo Goncalves
Paulo Goncalves

Action was heads-up on a {10-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} turn when John Cynn checked to Paulo Goncalves, who quickly flicked 300,000 in the middle. Cynn came along with a rapid call.

The river brought the {5-Spades} and Cynn checked to Goncalves. Without hesitation, the Brazilian splashed 455,000 in the pot. Cynn took around a minute before check-raising to what appeared to be around 1.5 million. With lightning speed, Goncalves threw in a calling chip.

Cynn showed a counterfeited {9-Hearts}{8-Hearts} and Goncalves tabled the winner with {A-Spades}{10-Diamonds}

Foster Eliminated Against Duong

Level 27 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Two short stacks got their chips in pre-flop with the two players turning over the following.

Jack Duong: {7-Spades}{7-Clubs}
Seth Foster: {a-Spades}{j-Clubs}

Foster was the at-risk player, but looked set to double on the {a-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{8-Spades} flop. The turn was the {4-Hearts}, changing nothing, but the river was the {7-Hearts} and Duong rivered a set to send Foster to the rail.

Qutami Eliminated by Shorr

Level 27 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante
Danny Qutami
Danny Qutami

Hari Bercovici opened with a raise to 200,000 from middle position and Shannon Shorr three-bet from the cutoff to 535,000. Action folded to the small blind where Danny Qutami moved all in for 330,000 (he quadrupled up on the first hand in unknown fashion). Bercovici called Shorr's bet creating a heads-up side pot.

The flop was {Q-Spades}{J-Hearts}{2-Clubs} and Bercovici checked to Shorr who bet 580,000. Bercovici quickly folded so Shorr and Qutami showed their hands.

Shannon Shorr: {A-Clubs}{A-Hearts}
Danny Qutami: {Q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}

The board completed with the {3-Hearts} and the {2-Spades} and that would be it for Qutami who's top pair was inferior to Shorr's over pair, sending him to the rail.
