Dyer Wins a Big One Against Sharma

Level 31 : 100,000/200,000, 30,000 ante

Aram Zobian made it 525,000 to go and Artem Metalidi in the big blind asked for his stack size, then three-bet to 2,100,000 in the big blind. That ended the hand right there, as Zobian folded.

Soon after, Michael Dyer opened to 400,000 first to act and Nishant Sharma called from the big blind. The flop came {8-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} and Sharma check-called a bet of 375,000. On the {A-Hearts} turn, Sharma checked once more and called a bet worth 650,000 before checking the {2-Spades} river.

Dyer made it 1,650,000 to go and Sharma called after very brief hesitation. Dyer rolled over the {A-Spades}{K-Diamonds} and Sharma mucked, then mentioned in table chat "I had an ace, too."
