Souza Sacrifices to Campo

Level 30 : 80,000/160,000, 20,000 ante

Peter Campo raised to 360,000 from middle position, and Ricardo Souza called in the big blind. After the flop fell {3-Hearts}{k-Spades}{10-Diamonds}, Souza check-called a 400,000 bet from Campo, before he check-called for 700,000 on the {9-Clubs} turn.

The river brought {3-Clubs}, and Souza checked for the third time. Campo put maximum pressure on his opponent and moved all in for 1.7m. Souza thought for a couple of minutes before he made his decision to call.

Campo showed {q-Spades}{j-Hearts} for the straight and Souza saw he made the wrong call with {10-Hearts}{7-Hearts} for two pair.

Henrik Hecklen Eliminated in 38th Place ($189,165)

Level 30 : 80,000/160,000, 20,000 ante
Henrik Hecklen
Henrik Hecklen

Out of the cutoff, Henrik Hecklen moved all in for his last 2,315,000 and Artem Metalidi in the small blind asked for a count. Metalidi then leaned over to see the stack of Jeff Trudeau in the big blind before raising to 10 million, Trudeau quickly surrendered his big blind.

Henrik Hecklen: {Q-Hearts}{10-Spades}
Artem Metalidi: {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}

The {10-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{3-Spades} flop improved Hecklen and Metalidi asked for a six. Instead, the {K-Diamonds} on the turn gave him a flush draw. The final card was a six, and it was the {6-Diamonds}, improving Metalidi to a flush and sending Hecklen to the rail in 38th place for a payday of $189,165.

Lybaert Lives On

Level 30 : 80,000/160,000, 20,000 ante

Frederik Jensen raised to 350,000 from middle position and saw Bart Lybaert move all in for 2.8m in the next seat. The rest of the players folded, and Jensen called.

Frederik Jensen: {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}
Bart Lybaert: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}

Board: {a-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{j-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{7-Spades}

The ace on the flop was enough for Lybaert to double-up once the board had completed and the Belgian who has already made it to two WSOP final tables this summer survived.

Jeckeln Takes More From Trudeau

Level 30 : 80,000/160,000, 20,000 ante

Andres Jeckeln dragged another pot off Jeff Trudeau to touch the 10M mark. On a {10-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{10-Hearts} flop, Trudeau bet 250,000 and Jeckeln called in position. Both players checked the {J-Clubs} on the turn.

The river was the {9-Clubs} and Trudeau flicked 700,000 forward in one swift motion. Jeckeln raised to 1,900,000 and Jeckeln called it off after thirty seconds.

Jeckeln revealed {K-Hearts}{Q-Spades} for a hidden straight and Trudeau had to muck his hand.

Jeckeln Catches Trudeau Bluffing

Level 30 : 80,000/160,000, 20,000 ante

Artem Metalidi raised to 350,000 in the cutoff and Jeff Trudeau three-bet to 915,000 on the button. Metalidi asked for Trudeau's stack size and opted to four-bet to 2,640,000, which forced a fold from Trudeau.

Jason Gooch opened to 360,000 on the button and Antoine Labat came along from the big blind. There was no betting action on the {A-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{8-Hearts} board and Labat claimed the pot with the {K-Spades}{2-Spades}.

Trudeau made it 325,000 to go and was called by Andres Jeckeln on the button. Trudeau bet the {K-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} flop for 275,000, which Jeckeln called. Trudeau fired another two barrels, worth 725,000 on the {10-Diamonds} turn and 1,000,000 on the {2-Spades} river, and Jeckeln called both times. Trudeau was caught bluffing with the {9-Spades}{8-Clubs} and Jeckeln turned over {K-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts} for a pair of kings to claim the pot.
