McKeehen Doubles

Level 27 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Charles Dolan raised to 185,000 from the hijack, it was folded to Joe McKeehen in the big blind who moved all in for 485,000.

Dolan thought for a few moments before making the call.

McKeehen held the {a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} up against the {k-Spades}{j-Diamonds} of Dolan. The runout was safe for McKeehen when it came {6-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{7-Spades}{5-Hearts}{9-Hearts} to give him an important double up.

Vanier Falls to Russler

Level 27 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

The player in mid-position raised to 165,000 and Mike Vanier shoved for 700,000 from the button. Nathan Russler decided to also shove from the big blind and the initial raiser quickly folded.

Mike Vanier: {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}
Nathan Russler: {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}

The board ran out {3-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} for Russler to hit top pair and to knock out Vanier from the tournament.

Reichard Busts One

Level 27 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Josh Reichard
Josh Reichard

Michael Stonehill moved in for his last 140,000 from under the gun, and was called by Jose Trapote in the cutoff, Bruno Politano on the button, and Josh Reichard in the big blind.

Reichard checked a {j-Spades}{6-Hearts}{5-Spades} flop to Trapote, who bet 140,000 into the dry side pot. Politano folded and Reichard called.

Both players checked the {4-Hearts} turn, and Reichard bet 475,000 when the {4-Clubs} fell on the river.

"Did you make the straight on me or miss your flush?" Trapote asked Reichard. After about a minute, he slammed in a call.

"Straight," Reichard said, tabling {7-Clubs}{3-Hearts}.

"That's what I get for letting you in!" Trapote said as he mucked his hand, while Stonehill showed his {k-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} before hitting the rail.

King High Good for Gumz as Six Kicker Plays

Level 27 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Fabian Gumz
Fabian Gumz

With an already large pot in the middle, the board read {a-Spades}{4-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{q-Spades}. Brekstyn Schutten was facing a big river bet of 925,000 from Fabian Gumz after he had previously called a bet of 105,000 on the flop and one of 475,000 on the turn.

Schutten thought for quite a while before putting a stack in the middle to indicate the call.

Gumz reluctantly turned over his {k-Spades}{6-Hearts} to show that he was bluffing, but in this case it was actually the best hand as Schutten showed that he called with {k-Hearts}{3-Clubs}, meaning the six played to make the best five card hand for Gumz.

Gumz looked shocked as the pot was pushed toward him, unable to believe his inadvertent value.

Schutten stood up and walked away from the table. "I disgust myself" he said as he came back shaking his head.

"You had me though. You read me right" said Gumz.
