Karamalikis Eliminates Massey

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Aaron Massey's tournament life was at stake as he held {10-}{10-} in a pre-flop all in situation vs {a-}{j-} of Jonathan Karamalikis who only covered Massey by very little.

Massey would not fade the dangerous over-cards though as the board ran out {7-Hearts}{j-Spades}{k-Clubs}{9-Spades}{5-Diamonds} to give Karamalikis the pot and to end Massey's run in the Millionaire Maker.

Lactaoen Fights Back With a Double of His Own

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Jon Lactaoen moved his last 465,000 in from early position, and Lokesh Garg three-bet shoved for 2.4 million in middle position, chasing out the rest of the field.

Jon Lactaoen: {a-Hearts}{8-Hearts}
Lokesh Garg: {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}

"Look at that flop!" Lactaoen said when the {8-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{q-Hearts} flop delivered Garg top set and Lactaoen a pair and the nut flush draw. Lactaoen would miss the {7-Spades} turn, but the {j-Hearts} river gave Lactaoen the nuts, and Garg said, "Aye-ya!" before paying out the double.

Joe McKeehen: {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}
Jon Lactaoen: {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}

The board ran out {8-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} for McKeehen to find a queen on the flop to stay alive and double up.

Albertson Wins With King High

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

On the turn the board read {6-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{j-Clubs}. From the big blind Bob Shao led out with a bet of 550,000 which Cory Albertson called.

The river was the {8-Clubs}. Shao thought for a while before electing not to fire again and checked to which Albertson checked back.

Shao showed the {10-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} which Albertson could beat with his {k-Hearts}{4-Hearts} as he added even more chips to his stack.

Frey Gets Coolered By van Zadelhoff

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Steven van Zadelhoff

Hunter Frey raised to 175,000 from under the gun, and a player called in late position. Steven van Zadelhoff three-bet to 725,000 in the big blind, and Frey four-bet shoved for 3.2 million. The late position player folded, and Van Zadelhoff called, leaving himself just 300,000 behind.

Hunter Frey: {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}
Steven Van Zadelhoff: {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}

Frey would not be able to crack the rockets, as a {j-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{7-Clubs}{6-Spades}{3-Diamonds} board left Van Zadelhoff's aces in front.
