Chris Klodnicki
Chris Klodnicki

Stud Hi-Lo

Chris Klodnicki: {x-}{x-} / {8-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{q-Diamonds} / {x-}
John Evans: {x-}{x-} / {4-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{6-Spades} / {x-}

Chris Klodnicki completed on his eight and John Evans called. Evans took over on fourth and continued to fire until seventh where he checked. Klodnicki called down on every street and checked seventh behind Evans.

Klodnicki tabled {10-Clubs}{8-Spades}{2-Clubs}, giving him two pair and it was good as Evans only had {a-Spades}{9-Hearts}{2-Spades} for a pair of nines. Klodnicki pulled in the pot and added another pot to his already healthy stack.

Livingston: {a-Hearts}{5-Hearts}
Long: {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}

Long was a favorite to bust his opponent but the {3-Spades} gave Livingston a gutshot and the {4-Clubs} saved his tournament run.

Noah Bronstein
Noah Bronstein

2-7 Triple Draw

It was blind versus blind when Noah Bronstein opened and John Evans defended. Bronstein took two and Evans pulled three.

Evans called a bet from Bronstein and each player pulled one less card on the second draw. Bronstein moved all in for 28,000 and Evans called. Bronstein stood pat and again Evans drew two.

Bronstein tabled {j-}{6-}{4-}{3-}{2-} for a rough jack and Evans slowly turned over {8-}{6-}{5-}{3-}{2-} for an eighty-six. Evans pulled in the pot and eliminated Bronstein from the tournament on his fortuitous third draw.

Trumbul: {x-}{x-}{x-} / {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}
Rubinstein: {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} / {2-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{q-Spades}

Kessler Sends Brink Out the Door

Level 23 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante
Frederik Brink
Frederik Brink

Limit Hold'em

Allen Kessler opened from the hijack, Chris Klodnicki made it three bets on the cutoff and Frederik Brink pushed in 42,000 as he moved all in for less. Kessler called the three-bet of Klodnicki and the two now had a side pot as Brink was all in for the main.

The flop fell {j-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{4-Clubs}, action checked to Klodnicki who fired in a bet that was instantly check-raised by Kessler. Klodnicki just as quickly folded and the remaining two tabled their hands.

Brink turned over {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}, giving him a pair of dimes and Kessler had him dominated with his {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}, for a higher pair of ladies. The board came down {2-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} on the turn and river, changing nothing, as Kessler's queens held on to eliminate Brink from the tournament.

Philip Long called with a {10-} and Livingston joined them to fourth street where Long bet, Livingston called and Trumbul called for his last 9,000. Livingston and Long checked it down as their boards rolled out high. Trumbul secured his triple with a nine-eight.

Trumbul: {a-}{10-}{9-} / {3-}{q-}{2-}{8-}
Long: {x-}{x-}{x-} / {10-}{6-}{j-}{j-}
Livingston: {a-}{5-}{6-} / {k-}{5-}{j-}{k-}
