Friedman Doubles Through Owen

Level 13 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

Arriving in the midst of the raises, Adam Owen had committed 37,500 from the big blind and defending champion Adam Friedman reraised the pot to 123,000 from the button. Owen called after a few moments.

The flop was {q-Spades}{7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}, Owen bet and Friedman called all in for his remaining 60,000-ish.

Owen: {k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{9-Spades}
Friedman: {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}

The turn was the {a-Spades}, locking up the pot for Friedman with aces full, rendering the {8-Clubs} river moot.
