Queen Heavy Board Beneficial to Aoki

Level 8 : 400/800, 800 ante

On a flop that read {j-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} Mikiyo Aoki called a bet from her opponent from the small blind.

The turn was another queen as it came the {q-Spades}. Aoki again called a bet from her opponent, one of 5,000.

The river was the {4-Hearts}. This time Aoki led out with a bet of 16,000 which her opponent thought through before electing to lay it down.

D'Ambrosio Off to a Hot Start

Jimmy D'Ambrosio claimed to have just busted a player with pocket kings against pocket jacks to run his stack up to a pretty high amount. While recalling the story, he was involved in a hand with another player and made a bet of 15,000 on the river which his opponent folded to.

D'Ambrosio showed the {a-Clubs}{8-Clubs} which missed the board "Player shows nothing" he said and stacked even more to his large stack.

Babadzanov Busts Saliba

Vivian Saliba was standing up and all in while two other players played out a side pot. As they checked it down, Timor Babadzanov showed the hand of {j-Clubs}{10-Clubs} on a board of {5-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{j-Spades}{6-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} which was the winning hand as neither Saliba or the opponent in the side plot could beat it.

After three players, including Thomas Middleton in middle position, decided to just call 600 preflop, Eric Smidinger bumped it up to 3,100 from his big blind. Middleton was the only player that decided to play along. After Smidinger checked the {2-Spades}{q-Clubs}{3-Clubs} flop, Middleton put out a bet of 4,500, Smidinger check-folded and the game was over.
