Le Fires Opponent Out of Hand

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Quoc Le
Quoc Le

On a board that read {q-Clubs}{q-Spades}{3-Clubs}{4-Hearts}, Quoc Le bet 305,000 over to his opponent who made the call.

The river was the {3-Spades}. Le fired another round, this time he put a meaty bet of 750,000 into the middle. After contemplating it for a few moments his opponent relinquished his cards.

Le took a moment to give his cards back to the dealer, promising that he would tell his opponent what he had later, but for right now he could not reveal that information.

Spati Flushes Pan's Queens

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

After preflop action folded around to Michael Spati in the small blind, who was getting a massage, he shoved his last remaining chips, which got an immediate call from Yuwen Pan in the big blind.

Michael Spati: {5-Clubs}{9-Clubs}
Yuwen Pan: {q-Clubs}{q-Spades}

Spati turned a flush on the {9-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{3-Clubs} board but still had to hope the river wouldn't bring a fourth club and give Pan a higher flush. The {3-Hearts} was one of the cards Spati was hoping for, which secured his double-up and allowed his massage to continue.

Evard Takes Pot From Ivey

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Francois Evard raised to 130,000 from the small blind and was called by Phil Ivey in the big blind.

The flop came {2-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{6-Hearts}. Evard bet 120,000 which Ivey called. The turn was the {10-Hearts}. Evard slowed down and checked over to Ivey who made a bet of 250,000. Evard checked his cards and thought for a moment before calling.

The river was the {10-Clubs}. Evard checked and Ivey checked behind after a few moments.

Evard showed the {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts} which was enough to take the pot as Ivey mucked his hand.

Ortiz Such Takes Out MacKinnon

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

After preflop action folded around to Alberto Ortiz Such in the cutoff and he raised it up to 65,000, DJ MacKinnon then three-bet shoved his remaining stack from the button. Both blinds folded and Ortiz Such made the call.

DJ MacKinnon: {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}
Alberto Ortiz Such: {q-Clubs}{j-Clubs}

The {7-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{j-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} runout was not favorable to MacKinnon, and he was eliminated just before the dinner break.
