Deeb Doubles Through Smith

Level 8 : 800/1,600, 0 ante
Shaun Deeb
Shaun Deeb

Joining the action on the {q-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} turn with some 20,000 in the pot, Tyler Smith bet 13,000 and defending champion Shaun Deeb raised the pot. Smith wasted little time before moving all in and Deeb carefully counted his remaining stack of 108,900 total. Eventually, Deeb made the call and the cards were on their back.

Shaun Deeb: {q-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}
Tyler Smith: {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}

The {5-Spades} on the river was a blank and Deeb doubled, while Smith remained on a big stack.

Ben Lamb raised to 3,500 from middle position and both Anson Tsang and Dan Zack called from the button and big blind respectively.

The {4-Clubs}{10-Spades}{q-Spades}{a-Hearts}{q-Clubs} board checked through to the river where Zack bet out 7,000 and both Lamb and Tsang folded.

Yockey Check-Raises Taylor on the River

Level 7 : 600/1,200, 0 ante

Bryce Yockey raised to 3,500 from the hijack and Esther Taylor called on the button, as did the player in the small blind.

The flop landed {a-Clubs}{10-Spades}{3-Diamonds} and Yockey continued for 5,000. Taylor called, and the small blind check-folded.

The turn fell the {7-Hearts} and Yockey now elected to check. Taylor bet 13,000, and Yockey called.

The river landed the {2-Hearts} and Yockey checked once more. Taylor bet 36,000, and Yockey responded by splashing out his green 25,000-denomination chips for a bet of 175,000.

Taylor folded, and Yockey collected the pot.

Schindler Above Starting Stack

Level 7 : 600/1,200, 0 ante

Tommy Le limped in and Jake Schindler raised to 5,400, which got a chuckle from Robert Salaburu with the words "you are on fire."

Ludovic Geilich in the big blind and Le called and they headed to the {q-Clubs}{5-Spades}{2-Spades} flop. Action checked to Schindler and he bet 9,000, only Geilich came along. On the {5-Diamonds} turn, Geilich checked and quickly folded to a second barrel, which sent Schindler back above the starting stack.

Mirzikinian Eliminated by Mizrachi's Quads

Level 7 : 600/1,200, 0 ante
Michael Mizrachi
Michael Mizrachi

Warwick Mirzikinian may very well be the first player to bust for the second time and won't be allowed to re-enter anymore due to the single re-entry option after he just clashed with Michael Mizrachi.

They got it in after a {j-Hearts}{7-Spades}{5-Diamonds} flop with Mirzikinian at risk holding the {j-Clubs}{8-Spades}{7-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} for top two. Mizrachi had {5-Spades}{5-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{2-Hearts} for bottom set and the {5-Hearts} turn instantly left Mirzikinian drawing dead, which made the {k-Clubs} river a formality.

Lamb Runs into Broadway

Level 7 : 600/1,200, 0 ante
Ben Lamb
Ben Lamb

On a flop of {q-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} with 16,800 in the middle, Ben Lamb checked from middle position, and the hijack checked also.

Anson Tsang bet 15,000 from the button, and both Lamb and the hijack called.

The {5-Hearts} on the turn checked through as the {3-Spades} landed on the river.

Lamb checked, the hijack bet 25,000, and Tsang folded.

"Cheap," uttered Lamb as he stared at the pot and board.

After nearly a minute, Lamb called, and his opponent tabled his {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{4-Clubs} for Broadway.
