Queens Good for Becker

Level 4 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Johannes Becker checked from under the gun in a three-way pot with {10-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} on the felt. Another player checked and Andre Akkari bet 16,500 from the button. Only Becker continued to the {j-Spades} turn, at which point he check-called 27,000. On the {4-Hearts} river, both players checked and Becker's {q-}{q-} was a winner.

Haxton Finds a Dub

Level 4 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Isaac Haxton
Isaac Haxton

After an open to 7,000 in middle position and a three-bet to 26,000 out of the hijack, Isaac Haxton popped in a cold four to 61,000. The three-bettor peeled and they saw an {8-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} flop. Haxton moved all in for 114,000 when checked to, and his opponent quickly called.

Haxton showed {q-Spades}{q-Hearts} and his opponent patted the table and turned over his {10-Hearts}{10-Spades}. The {q-Diamonds} turn locked it up for Haxton.

What Does the Fox(en) Say?

Level 4 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Alex Foxen raised to 8,000 under the gun and picked up a caller from middle position. Elio Fox then three-bet to 31,000 from the cutoff and action folded back to Foxen, who four-bet to 91,000. The middle-position caller got out of the way and Fox thought for a bit before making the call.

When the flop came down {9-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{10-Hearts}, Foxen moved all in for 265,500 and Fox shrugged before calling off for 240,500.

Alex Foxen: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}
Elio Fox: {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}

Fox opted to go with his flush draw, which he missed on the {4-Spades} turn. Foxen was one card away from scoring the knockout but then the {k-Hearts} spiked on the river to give Fox the heart flush and the double.

Lamb Pays Kempe

Level 4 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

With {q-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} on the felt, Ben Lamb checked out of the big blind and Rainer Kempe bet 78,000 into about 100,000. Lamb thought a bit and confirmed the amount before calling, but he couldn't beat {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}.

Smith Clawing Back

Level 4 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

With {9-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{7-Spades} on the felt, big blind Dan Smith shoved all in for around 100,000, roughly the size of the pot. Jake Schindler went into the tank long enough to use two time extensions then flicked his cards to the dealer.

After being down below one-third of the starting early, Smith is creeping back up closer to that 300,000 mark.

Up to 70

Level 3 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Pace of play has slowed considerably as all the pots being contested are small at the moment. In the mean time, here's a few of the players who registered before the end of Level 3.

Ziegler Takes It on the Turn

Level 3 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Tobias Ziegler raised the button to 5,000 and Dan Smith defended his big blind to see a {2-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{5-Hearts} flop.

Smith check-called a bet of 4,500 from Ziegler then checked again on the {a-Diamonds} turn.

Ziegler upped his bet to 17,000 and that's all it took as Smith released his hand.

Boivin Check-Raises Haxton Big

Level 3 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

On a completed board of {k-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{a-Spades}, Isaac Haxton bet about half pot, 35,000. Small blind Thomas Boivin thought long enough to use an extension then slid in a check-raise to 154,000. Haxton conceded the pot.
