Beresford Busts Brar

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante

A player raised from early position, Jaspal Brar called from the small blind, and Conor Beresford defended from the big blind.

The dealer spread a flop of {10-Clubs}{5-Spades}{3-Diamonds}, Brar led for 1,700, Beresford quickly raised to 4,000, the early position player folded and Brar called. The turn was the {2-Hearts} and Brar check-called another 4,000.

The river was the {5-}, Brar checked once again and Beresford put in 30,000. Brar went in the tank had eventually put his remaining 12,500 in the middle. Beresford tabled {a-Spades}{4-Clubs} for a turned straight and Brar threw his cards into the muck.

Watson Makes Move, Hits a Miracle

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante

A player under the gun opened to 1,000 and Mitchell Watson three-bet to 2,000. His opponent pushed in 4,000 and Watson snap-moved all in for just under 50,000. His opponent just as quickly called for his remaining 40,000 and the two turned over their hands.

Opponent: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}
Mitchell Watson: {10-Spades}{8-Hearts}

The flop came down {10-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} and Watson's opponent said "Good hand," as he stood up. A {k-Hearts} came down on the turn and Watson's opponent was still ahead with their aces.

The river changed that when the dealer flipped a {10-Hearts} to complete the board, giving Watson three dimes and more than enough to take down the pot, eliminating his opponent from the tournament.

Gazaev Pulls From O'Hara and Adds to Lead

Level 4 : 100/300, 300 ante

The board read {k-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} and there was around 20,000 in the pot. Ruslan Gazaev chucked in 6,600, Ian O'Hara swiftly called and the dealer flipped over a {k-Clubs} on the river.

Both players checked and Gazaev tabled {j-Spades}{j-Hearts} for a full house. O'Hara said, "Switch me hands and I'll bet for you!" as he threw his card into the muck, shipping another pot to Gazaev.

He has not taken a seat here today on the fourth level of play and like many will be hoping to run up a stack by nights end.
