Hom Sends One Home

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Hsusheng Weng shoved his remaining stack from early position. Action then folded around to Blaise Hom in the cutoff, and he re-shoved behind, which got the remaining players to fold their hands.

Hsusheng Wang: {j-Clubs}{10-Spades}
Blaise Hom: {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts}

By the turn on a board reading {3-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{7-Spades}, Wang was drawing to four outs for the gutshot straight, but unfortunately the {a-Clubs} wasn't one of those outs and his tournament came to an end.

Yurasov Amassing Chips

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

On a board that read {k-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{9-Clubs}, Dmitry Yurasov bet 225,000 and was raised by Andrew Barber to about 500,000.

Yurasov considered it for a moment and then put a stack of 100,000 chips in the middle for a three-bet to roughly 2,000,000. That got the job done as Barber got out of the way quickly.

Sherwood Shoves at the Wrong Time

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

After preflop action folded around to Robert Sherwood in the small blind, he shoved all in. Julie Gegg, sitting on a monster, snap-called from her big blind.

Robert Sherwood: {8-Spades}{2-Clubs}
Julie Gegg: {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades}

Sherwood was drawing very thin, but did have two live cards, none of which came on the {a-Spades}{5-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{a-Clubs} runout and he was eliminated from the tournament.

Large Stacks

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Here are the chip counts of some of the larger stacks in the room.

Bullard Busted By Park

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Brady Bullard shoved all in from early position, and when action folded around to Peter Park on the button he made the call and both blinds folded.

Brady Bullard: {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}
Peter Park: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}

The {9-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{2-Spades} flop was safe for Bullard, but {k-Clubs} turn put Park in the lead and the {3-Clubs} river sent Bullard, one of the chipleaders at the start of Day 3, to the payout desk.

Lydon Goes Big

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

On a flop that read {5-Spades}{3-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} John Song bet 90,000 to which Michael Lydon on his immediate left responded with a hefty raise to 525,000. Song frowned and thought it over but eventually had to let it go to the pressure of the raise.
