Sigua Doubles Up

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Action folded around to the button player who raised to 9,000 and Rellie Sigua moved all in from the big blind for 26,000, his opponent called.

Rellie Sigua: {a-Spades}{6-Spades}
Opponnet: {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}

Sigua was dominated and the rainbow flop of {8-Spades}{q-Clubs}{j-Hearts} was no help with his opponent pairing his queen.

The {j-Spades} on the turn gave Sigua a flush draw that he needed to hit on the river to stay alive.

The dealer would put the {k-Spades} on the river and Sigua doubled up.

Hobbs Dodges The Flush

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

There was two-way action headed to the flop between Brian Hobbs from middle position and Eric Smith from the small blind.

Smith fired out 10,000 after a flop of {a-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{5-Clubs}, Hobbs called.

The turn brought the {8-Spades} and Smith bet 16,000. Hobbs counted his chips and three-bet to 36,000, Smith called.

Both players checked the {j-Spades} river and tabled their hands.

Smith ({k-Clubs}{j-Clubs}) had a busted flush and paired his jack but that wasn't good enough as Hobbs' {a-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} flopped two-pair.

Hellmuth Chips Up

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Phil Hellmuth now has the tablet face down, and it appears the 15-time WSOP bracelet winner has busted out of the $1,000 WSOP.com ONLINE Double Stack.

He's now fully focused on the business at hand in front of him, and he's up to 75,000 chips in the $800 Deepstack. Hellmuth opened for 5,000 from the cutoff on a recent hand, and got a call from the big blind.

The flop came {3-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{q-Spades}, and Hellmuth fired a 6,500 continuation bet and got the fold.

Lien Hits Runner Runner to Eliminate 'The Master'

Level 13 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Men Nguyen
Men Nguyen

Bradley Lien limped in from under the gun as did the button player. Men 'The Master' Nguyen called from the small blind and Yingxin Chen checked his option from the big.

Both Nguyen and Chen checked the {3-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} flop to Lien who bet 3,000. The button player folded and as did Chen after Nguyen three-bet to 9,000. Action was back on Lien who put Nguyen all in for his remaining 18,000, Nguyen called.

Men Nguyen: {2-Hearts}{3-Clubs}
Bradley Lien: {k-Hearts}{j-Spades}

Nguyen was in great shape as he flopped trip threes but the {10-Hearts} on the turn gave Lien a king-high flush draw.

The dealer then put the {7-Hearts} on the river and Lien hit runner-runner to eliminate "The Master' from the tournament.

Stamatakos Gets Right to Work After Dinner

Level 13 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

A player on the button went all in, the small blind called, and George Stamatakos also called on the big blind. The small blind player had her two opponents covered.

Button: {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}
Small Blind: {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}
Stamatakos: {a-Spades}{10-Spades}

Stamatakos had a 27 percent chance of coming away with the win in this three-way race, and he did just that on the {10-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{4-Spades}{a-Hearts} runout. The {a-Hearts} on the river gave him the come-from-behind win, and he's now back in business with 127,000 chips. The player on button was eliminated just as Level 13 began.
