From 60k to 4.25 Million for Marchington

Level 31 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

Nicholas Marchington chronicled his journey from 60,000, 20 minutes ago, to where he currently sits at 4,250,000.

Marchington texted a friend to inform that he had busted out, after losing an all in with {j-}{10-} suited against {a-}{9-} offsuit. After things sorted out, he discovered he still had 60,000, good for one small blind at Level 30.

He got up to 420,000 on a hand where his {a-}{9-} held up against multiple opponents, then doubled that total on a {q-}{9-} versus {k-}{q-} hand, with the board running out {q-}{9-}{8-}{10-}{3-}.

He then tripled up with {k-Clubs}{k-} against two opponents with {10-}{10-} and {a-}{j-}, rivering a club flush. There must have been some other hands in there as well, but Marchington had to cut the chronicle to PokerNews short as he got a hand to play.

Hess Eliminates Townsend

Level 30 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Gustavo Hess opened for 280,000 from early position and action folded to Maro Townsend who three-bet jammed for 2,190,000 on the button. Action folded back to Hess who took a couple of minutes to think it over before he made the call.

Gustavo Hess: {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}
Marco Townsend: {8-Spades}{8-Hearts}

Hess's hand improved after the {7-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{j-Spades} flop but Townsend also picked up a gutterball.

The turn changed nothing with the {6-Clubs} and Townsend needed a nine to stay alive.

The river wasn't the card Townsend want to see as it fell the {q-Clubs} and he was eliminated from the tournament.

Level 30 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Waheed Feda: {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}
Damian Salas: {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}

Feda ran into rockets and after the {4-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{7-Clubs} flop, he needed running cards to stay alive.

The turn came the {5-Hearts} giving Feda a flush draw heading to the river.

The river was a brick as it fell the {2-Clubs} and Feda hit the payout booth.
