Frerichs Spikes Ace, Doubles Through Liel

Level 23 : 12,000/24,000, 24,000 ante

Christian Liel open-jammed from the small blind and Jeff Frerichs called for less in the big.

Christian Liel: {j-Hearts}{j-Spades}
Jeff Frerichs: {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}

Frerichs needed a good flop but it came a rainbow {2-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{k-Hearts} and the {8-Diamonds} on the turn left Frerichs one option and that was pairing his ace on the river.

The poker gods answered Frerichs call as the river fell the {a-Diamonds} and he doubled through Liel.

Doshi Doubles Up

Level 23 : 12,000/24,000, 24,000 ante

With five players in the hand preflop, the action got back around to Chirag Doshi under the gun, and Doshi went all in for his 226,000 stack. Jie Fu called, and the other three players folded.

Chirag Doshi: {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}
Jie Fu: {7-Clubs}{7-Spades}

The coin flip went Doshi's way on a {q-Hearts}{8-Spades}{10-Spades}{2-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} runout, giving him some much needed chips.
