Lopez Gets Park to Fold

Level 40 : 600,000/1,200,000, 1,200,000 ante

Juan Lopez raised to 2,300,000 from the button and Sejin Park called in the big blind.

The flop came {9-Clubs}{q-Spades}{j-Clubs}, Park check-called the 1,500,000 continuation-bet of Lopez to see the {7-Clubs} on the turn. Park check-called the bet of Lopez once more for the {5-Clubs} to complete the board on the river.

Park checked for the last time and Lopez fired a bet of 6,500,000 into the pot. Park tanked for a while and then folded. Lopez tabled {k-Spades}{5-Spades} for the pair of fives.

The action folded around to Andrew Barber in the small blind and he announced all-in. Ian Steinman was in the big blind and instantly called off his remaining for approximately 9,000,000.

Andrew Barber: {2-Spades}{2-Diamonds}
Ian Steinman: {8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}

Steinman was a big favorite to win and nothing changing on the {k-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{9-Spades} flop, but the {2-Hearts} hit the turn giving Barber a full house, and Steinman couldn't catch an eight when the {a-Spades} hit the river.

Lopez Doubles Through Santos

Level 39 : 500,000/1,000,000, 1,000,000 ante

Josias Santos raised the button and picked up a single caller in Juan Lopez out of the big blind. On the {8-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{6-Spades} flop, Lopez checked and Santos bet 2,300,000. Moments later, Lopez pushed all in and Santos asked for a count. The shove of Lopez was for 10,800,000 and Santos reluctantly called.

Juan Lopez: {a-Diamonds}{6-Spades}
Josias Santos: {k-Spades}{4-Spades}

The {3-Clubs} turn and {9-Diamonds} river run out brought no help for Santos and he traded the role of the short stack with Lopez

Valencia Hits the River

Level 39 : 500,000/1,000,000, 1,000,000 ante

Francisco Valencia raised to 2,000,000 from the late position and was called by Andrew Barber in the hijack, Maksim Kalman on the button, and Oswin Ziegelbecker in the big blind.

They all checked through the {7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{9-Hearts} flop to the {6-Diamonds} on the turn. Ziegelbecker and Valencia both checked again. Barber led out for 4,000,000 and Valencia was the only one to make the call.

The river completed the board with the {q-Spades} for them both to check again. Valencia tabled {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs} for the rivered two pair which shocked Barber as he held his head.

"What are you doing?!" Barber exclaimed.

"Nothing..." Valencia just shrugged.

Patrick Miller raised to 2,200,000 and Diego Lima three-bet to 6,900,000 from two seats over. That won the pot, as everybody else got out of the way.

Shortly after, Lima was involved in the action and bet a {k-Spades}{q-Clubs}{4-Hearts} flop for 2,300,000, which Ryan Depaulo called. The {7-Diamonds} turn and {6-Hearts} river were checked and Lima tabled {a-Spades}{6-Spades}, Depaulo had that beat with {q-Hearts}{j-Hearts} for a pair of queens.
