Eveslage Rivers a Flush Versus Vieira

Level 14 : 4,000/8,000, 0 ante

In a blind versus blind situation, the flop read {2-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{q-Hearts} and Joao Vieira check-raised a bet from Chad Eveslage. The latter called.

The turn was the {8-Hearts} and Vieira thought about his move before sending a bet, called by Eveslage.

On the {5-Hearts} river, Vieira bet once more and faced a raise from Eveslage. Vieira opted to call but only to muck when Eveslage showed {a-Hearts}{9-Hearts} for the nut flush.

Wittmeyer Building

Level 13 : 3,000/6,000, 0 ante

Brandon Wittmeyer has more than doubled what he started the day with. Just now he took down a pot against Tu Dao after defending his big blind against her 6,000 cutoff open. The flop was the {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}{9-Hearts} and Wittmeyer check-called a small continuation bet of 3,000.

There was no further betting on the {j-Diamonds} turn or {7-Clubs} river and Wittmeyer turned over a full house with {8-Spades}{8-Clubs} and it was good enough to beat Dao, who mucked.

Lisawad Eliminated by Chebotarev

Level 13 : 3,000/6,000, 0 ante

Pakinai Lisawad was down to fumes and got the last of it all in preflop against Oleg Chebotarev.

Oleg Chebotarev: {a-Diamonds}{6-Spades}
Pakinai Lisawad: {6-Clubs}{6-Hearts}

Lisawad's tournament life was at risk with the best of it but the {10-Clubs}{a-Spades}{k-Diamonds} flop, saw Chebotarev hit one of his three outs, leaving Lisawad with only the case six to hit. It was a big ask and the {8-Hearts} turn and {4-Hearts} river didn't oblige, sending him home six away from the money.

Heartberg Wins Against Shayesteh

Level 13 : 3,000/6,000, 0 ante

The flop was out and it read {9-Hearts}{7-Spades}{j-Hearts}. Jeremy Heartberg was first to act and he checked to Amir Shayesteh who bet 3,000 into the pot. After Heartberg called, they saw an {a-Clubs} land on the turn. Once again it checked to Shayesteh and he bet another 5,500, which Heartberg quickly called.

The river was the {3-Diamonds} and it went check-check, with Heartberg opening {a-Spades}{10-Hearts} for top pair and it was good for the pot.
