Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

The tournament director has instructed dealers to stand up at the completion of each hand and to not let any player that busts out of the tournament walk away, signifying the official bubble and the beginning of hand-for-hand play.

Clarke Barrels Turn and River

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

In a three-way limped pot the action checked through on the {k-Spades}{6-Spades}{4-Hearts} flop to see the {8-Diamonds} on the turn, Paul Hofer checked, David Moses checked behind and Philip Clarke bet out 12,000, Hofer quickly folded and Moses called.

The {9-Clubs} fell on the river and Moses checked once again and Clarke bet out 10,000. Moses' cards hit the muck relatively quickly.

Blumenthal Takes Chip Lead

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Eddie Blumenthal was just seen with a stack of approximately 715,600 with a few minutes before the second break of the day.

"You should probably hear about this hand," and "it was a very interesting hand" were some comments from other tablemates. Blumenthal chimed in and was more than happy to recount the hand, agreeing it was a very interesting one.

Pot-Limit Omaha

Blumenthal over-limped on the button and was part of a four-way hand that went to the flop of {9-Hearts}{3-Spades}{4-Spades}. Everybody checked to him and he bet 13,000. The two players across the table from him folded and the player to his direct right intended to call. However, he accidentally threw in an extra T$5,000 chip in and his call was ruled to be a minimum raise to 26,000.

Blumenthal then came over the top to 70,000 and his opponent called. The turn fell {9-Clubs} and went check-check.

The river was {q-Spades} and Blumenthal's opponent checked. He fired a bet of 115,000 into the middle and his opponent check-raised all in for around 240,000.

Blumenthal happily called, citing his hand of {a-Spades}{9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} for quad nines with the nut spades and now finds himself with a stack of over 700,000.

Hendee Walks Off after Showing Nine-High Bluff

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

Martin Kozlov raised to 6,000 from middle position and Paul Hendee defended the big blind.

On the flop of {k-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{3-Clubs} Hendee check-called a 5,500 bet from Kozlov. The turn was a {a-Clubs} and Hendee check-called once again, this time for 9,000.

The river was the {5-Diamonds} and Hendee fired out a bet of 25,000 which Kozlov snap-mucked to.

Hendee tabled the {9-Hearts}{2-Hearts} and said, "Nine-high!", and proceeded to joke, "I walk off and instantly hustle your a**es when I come back. I am going to walk off again, I'll be back when the money bubble bursts." Hendee did just that and left the room.
