Martin Wounds Lee

Level 2 : 200/300, 300 ante

Boris Martin and Preston Lee made it to the {4-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} with around 28,000 in the middle. Martin fired 10,000 from the third position and Lee took about a minute before he tossed in calling chips.

The river was the {8-Spades} and Martin announced a bet of 17,000. Lee spent over two minutes tanking and then he called. Martin tabled {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds} and Lee nodded, offering a sign of defeat.

Cannon Rises

Level 2 : 200/300, 300 ante

Boosted by his river shove in an earlier gain of chips from Johnny Chan, Michael Cannon has continued to chip up early as he forced out his opponent on a board that read {k-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{5-Clubs} with a river bet to take down another pot.

Hall Hits the River

Level 2 : 200/300, 300 ante

Brandon Hall raised to 700 in the cutoff and was met with a call from the big blind.

The {3-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{a-Spades} board checked through to the river where Hall bet 1,000 and his opponent folded.

Hall flashed an ace as he secured the pot for at least a rivered pair.

Stegeman Wins With Two Pair

Level 2 : 200/300, 300 ante

Six people went to the flop in a limped pot and the dealer spread out {k-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{8-Clubs} on the table. It checked to Dutch TV host Alberto Stegeman in the hijack and he bet 800. John Smith was the only player to call from the small blind and the others all folded.

The turn was the {4-Diamonds} and Smith check-called another bet of 1,300 from Stegeman to see the {a-Clubs} on the river. Smith checked to Stegeman for the third time in a row and he fired a bet of 2,500. He was called by Smith and Stegeman showed {k-Spades}{q-Diamonds} for two pair and he took down the pot.
