Shulman's Sixes Good Enough

Level 8 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Jeff Shulman bet 6,000 into a pot of around 9,000 on a {2-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} flop, and a late position player folded, while the button made the call.

The {10-Hearts} turn and {2-Diamonds} river were checked through, and Shulman turned up {6-Clubs}{6-Spades} for a pair of sixes. The button peeked back at his cards briefly before mucking, sending the pot to the 2009 WSOP Main Event November Niner.

The flop came {10-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} and the small blind and Molnar checked. The player in mid-position bet 7,000. The cutoff and the small blind folded and Molnar check-called

The {2-Diamonds} completed the board and both players checked. The player in middle position showed {6-Diamonds}{6-Spades} and Molnar revealed {3-Clubs}{2-Clubs} for trip deuces to win the pot.

Fake It til You Make It

Level 8 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

James Obst opened to 2,800 from under the gun and Jerry Odeen defended from the big blind. The flop fell {k-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{6-Hearts} and Odeen checked to Obst who continued for 4,300. Odeen called and the {a-Diamonds} landed on the turn.

Both players checked and the {4-Clubs} completed the board. Odeen checked again and Obst quickly checked it back. Odeen tabled {10-Hearts}{5-Hearts} but Obst held {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds} for a pair of aces on the turn. Obst elected to play it cautiously after making the best hand on the turn.

Top Two Pair for Tosques

Level 8 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

With the flop down {8-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{5-Hearts} Francois Tosques bet 3,300 from middle position and saw opponents in the hijack and big blind call.

The turn revealed the {7-Clubs} and the big blind player bet 7,000. Tosques called, and the {8-Hearts} hit the river.

Both players checked to showdown, and Tosques' opponent revealed {5-Clubs}{4-Hearts} for two pair. The Frenchman, however, flipped over {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades} for top two pair and took in the pot.

Dudley Nets a Double Through Hinkle

Level 8 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Dash Dudley
Dash Dudley

Dash Dudley raised to 3,000 from under the gun, and Blair Hinkle called in the big blind.

Hinkle bet enough to commit Dudley's last 15,800 on a {5-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{4-Hearts} flop, and Dudley snap-called.

Dash Dudley: {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}
Blair Hinkle: {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}

Hinkle needed an ace or a deuce to bust Dudley, but a {5-Spades} turn and {8-Hearts} river kept the recent $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Championship bracelet winner Dudley alive.

Johansen Wins Multi-Way Pot Without Showdown

Level 8 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Sean Dwyer opened from middle position to 3,000 and was called by both Marius Johansen and Joao Vieira in the small- and big blinds, respectively. The flop came {k-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{a-Clubs} and action checked to Dwyer, who continued for 4,500. Johansen called and Vieira counted out chips to call before tossing them in to see the turn {j-Clubs}, where all three players checked.

The river came {j-Diamonds} and Johansen led out with a bet of 18,000. Vieira wasted no time letting his hand go and then Dwyer went into the tank for over two minutes, ultimately folding {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts} face up.

Johansen did not return the favor, sending his cards to the dealer face down in exchange for the pot.
