Cannuli Gets Punished for an Overbet

Level 10 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

A completed board of {k-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{q-Clubs} was spread across the felt with around 33,000 in the pot. Tom Cannuli led out for more than a pot-sized bet of 43,000. His opponent replied by shoving all in for 108,500.

Cannuli went into the tank for what seemed like over five minutes. The table sat in silence as Cannuli tried to come to a decision. Eventually, Cannuli flashed the {q-Diamonds} before putting his cards in the muck. His opponent collected the pot but didn't give Cannuli any information as the last few minutes tick down on the clock.

Tournier Calls With Tens

Level 10 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Laurie Tournier
Laurie Tournier

Laurie Tournier raised from middle position with {10-Spades}{10-Hearts} and she was called by the player in the big blind. The flop fell {8-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{5-Hearts} and she checked with her overpair after the player in the big blind had checked.

The turn was the {j-Clubs} and the big blind lead out with a bet of 13,000 which was more than the size of the pot. She called again and the {4-Hearts} was dealt on the river.

They checked both and Tournier's opponent was hesitant with showing his hand. He ended up showing {4-Clubs}{2-Clubs} and Tournier won with her pocket tens.

Level 10 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

The player on the cutoff raised to 4,000 and Edmund Mokrzycki three-bet jammed for 16,000 on the button. Action folded back to the player on the cutoff who made the call.

Edmund Mokrzycki: {a-Spades}{9-Clubs}
Opponent: {q-Spades}{10-Spades}

The runout was {2-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{a-Hearts} and Mokrzycki made nines full of aces to double up.

Silver Gets Value With Trips

Level 10 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Max Silver bet 7,000 on a {j-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} board from the big blind, and his opponent on the button made the call.

"Eighteen," Silver announced after the {5-Clubs} fell on the river, leaving himself just 12,000 behind. The button scrunched his face up before making what looked to be a crying call, only to quickly muck after Silver rolled over {q-Hearts}{j-Spades} for trips.

Johansen and Robinson Rising

Level 10 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Colin Robinson three-bet an open raise from 4,500 to 11,500 and was called by the initial raiser to see a {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} flop, on which he continued for 8,500 when checked to him. His opponent called and they checked the {5-Spades} turn. On the {10-Spades} river, Robinson's bet of 30,000 was check-called and he tabled {a-Spades}{k-Hearts} for trip aces with a king kicker as the winning hand.

One table over, Marius Johansen has even more chips than Robinson after sending an opponent to the rail with aces versus kings. Nabil Cardoso had folded and mentioned in table chat he held {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}.

Tom Hall sat in middle position and he raised to 4,200. He was called by two opponents from the cutoff and from the big blind. The three players saw the {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}{5-Hearts} flop appear on the board and the player in the big blind checked to Hall.

He fired a continuation-bet of 7,000 and the chips weren't even in the middle yet and both of them had folded their hands.

Kroon Gets a Lil' Respect

Level 10 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Mark Kroon
Mark Kroon

Dan Heimiller, who just joined the table of Mark Kroon, raised to 6,000 from under the gun.

"Welcome to the table, sir," Kroon told Heimiller.

A player in middle position called the raise, and Kroon quickly announced "All in," for 145,000 in the small blind.

"I don't think I get the respect that most people would get with an all-in," Kroon said. Both of his opponents folded.
