Lootsma Hits the Jackpot

Level 11 : 1,200/2,400, 2,400 ante

[Removed:491] opened and got one call before a third player three-bet all in for 27,500. Lootsma called and the second player folded.

[Removed:491]: {k-Hearts}{k-Spades}
All-in Player: {5-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}

There was a king in the window, and that was swiftly followed by another on the {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{j-Spades} runout with Lootsma's quads sending a player to the rail.

Affleck Doubles Up Through Present

Level 11 : 1,200/2,400, 2,400 ante
Matt Affleck
Matt Affleck

Matt Affleck raised to 5,500 from the late position and Randolph Present three-bet to 20,000 on the button. Action folded back to Affleck who glanced at Present and then decided to shove. Present asked for a count and the dealer confirmed Affleck held 46,800 behind. Present looked at his own stack and then made the call but shook his head when he saw Affleck's cards.

Matt Affleck: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}
Randolph Present: {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}

The board ran out {k-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{2-Spades}{6-Hearts}{7-Spades} for Affleck to pair up on the flop to double up.

Parenteau Takes from Overton

Level 11 : 1,200/2,400, 2,400 ante

Aaron Overton raised from the button and Joelle Parenteau called from the big blind.

The flop was {q-Clubs}{5-Spades}{4-Hearts} and Parenteau checked to Overton who continued for 3,300. Parenteau check-raised to 10,000 and Overton called.

Both players proceeded to check the {4-Diamonds} turn and {2-Clubs} river.

Parenteau showed {q-Spades}{7-Clubs} for queens and fours, Overton mucked and Parenteau won the pot.

Booth Eliminated

Level 11 : 1,200/2,400, 2,400 ante

"Good luck Mike," Brenda Miller said when Michael Booth had pushed all in first to act and was called three ways.

"I only saw one card," Booth replied and the flop fell {10-Spades}{9-Spades}{6-Hearts}. Action checked to Tim Adkison and he bet 8,000. Only Martin Stoller in the small blind check-called and they headed to the {k-Spades} turn. Stoller now led for 11,000 and Adkison called before Stoller check-called a bet by Adkison on the {10-Diamonds} river.

Adkison tabled {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs} for a full house and Booth briefly flashed {q-Hearts}{5-Spades} before heading to the rail.

Lisandro Levitating

Level 11 : 1,200/2,400, 2,400 ante

Georgi Gochev moved all in for his remaining 52,000 over an under the gun open from Jeff Lisandro. Lisandro thought it over for quite a while before deciding to call.

Gochev had the {a-Spades}{q-Hearts} while Lisandro held the {7-Spades}{7-Hearts}. The runout was good for Lisandro as it came {5-Hearts}{j-Spades}{6-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} to eliminate Gochev.

A few hands later, Lisandro was collecting the remaining stack of another player at the table as his {a-Clubs}{a-Spades} appeared to have remained ahead after a runout on a pre-flop all in to run his stack up even more.

"You can have it every time. It is possible" said Lisandro as he gathered his mound of chips

Chew Hangs Around to Best Kim

Level 11 : 1,200/2,400, 2,400 ante

Stevan Chew opened early for 5,100 and got called by James Mackey in middle position before David Kim made it 17,600 on the button. Everyone stuck around for the {10-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} flop and Chew check-called 23,200. He check-called a further 26,400 on the {10-Clubs} turn. We didn't catch the river card but action looked to have quickly checked through as Chew had {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} on the felt moments later and Kim was mucking.

Smith Flips Well

Level 11 : 1,200/2,400, 2,400 ante

Jesse Sylvia raised to 5,500 from an early position, Pin Jiang flatted in the cutoff and so did Khamsy Bowles on his left. Short-stacked Casey Smith peeled a good hand in the small blind and he moved all in for 37,000. Sylvia and Jiang folded to Bowles who called off.

Smith: {6-Hearts}{6-Clubs}
Bowles: {k-Diamonds}{q-Spades}

Smith faded the lethal outs on the board of {7-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{10-Spades}{6-Spades}, earning more than a double.

Leng's Blades Can't Ensnare Two

Level 11 : 1,200/2,400, 2,400 ante

Zachary Surdam jammed under the gun for 34,400 and Ryan Leng called on his left. Jeanphilippe Goulet-Ratelle made it 89,000 to go a couple of seats over, and Leng responded with an all-in shove worth 271,500. Goulet-Ratelle took a couple of minutes in the tank before releasing and was happy he did so as Leng flipped over {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}. Surdam had {5-Hearts}{5-Spades} and seemed hopeful as he said he had only flopped one set in the tournament, but the {10-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} brought nothing for him.
