Kings Good for "NJ_Sundot"

Level 13 : 300/600, 75 ante

"DOL026" raised to 1,200 under the gun and "NJ_Sundot" three-bet to 3,000 from the cutoff. Action folded back to "DOL026" and they jammed for 5,597. "NJ_Sundot" called and the hands were turned up.

"DOL026": {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}
"NJ_Sundot": {k-Hearts}{k-Spades}

The board ran out {7-Spades}{q-Spades}{5-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{4-Clubs} and that left "DOL026" forking over another $400 to re-enter back up to the 15,000 starting stack.

Liebert Falls Short and Rebuys

Kathy Liebert
Kathy Liebert

Action on the table folded around to Kathy "Luckygal" Liebert who raised all in for 7,745 on the button and Ryan "Protential" Laplante gave her isolation after he came over the top for 9,373 from the small blind.

Kathy "Luckygal" Liebert: {a-Hearts}{5-Hearts}
Ryan "Protential" Laplante: {a-Spades}{j-Spades}

Liebert was dominated but she didn't mind the {8-Spades}{3-Hearts}{2-Hearts} flop that gave her the straight flush draw.

The {6-Spades} turn was no help to Liebert as it gave Laplante the spade draw which he completed with the {3-Spades} on the river.

WSOP Legend: 3-Time Poker Players Championship Winner Michael Mizrachi

Level 13 : 300/600, 75 ante
Michael Mizrachi
Michael Mizrachi

The World Series of Poker $50,000 Poker Players Championship (PPC), which was created in 2006, is considered the tournament where the best of the best take on one another and duke it out in a variety of poker games, a reflection of all-around poker skill. Imagine playing the likes of Phil Ivey, Phil Hellmuth, and Daniel Negreanu five days in a row in a short-handed mixed format.

Needless to say, the hefty price tag coupled with a small, elite field created a legacy for the PPC where champions are considered among the greatest overall poker players. A quick glance at its 14-year history shows nothing but greatness among champions, from John Hennigan to Mike Gorodinsky, and with the late David "Chip" Reese as perhaps the event's most fitting inaugural winner back in 2006.

Winning once is the poker professional's dream. Winning two? You're in a league of your own. But winning the toughest event with poker's best three times? Only one man achieved that improbable feat on this day back in 2018, after winning his first two titles in 2010 and 2012: Michael Mizrachi.

Brandon "Daedalus" Crouse raised to 1,000 and action folded to Mark "Pegasus" Smith, who defended his big blind. When the flop came down {9-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}, Smith led out for 500 and Crouse called.

That action repeated itself on the {10-Hearts} turn before the {9-Clubs} paired the board on the river.

Smith bet again, this time upping it to 2,000, and that did the trick as Crouse released his hand.

The {j-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} flop was checked to Decastro who continued for 1,900 and "DonkNowitzki" raised to 5,100.

"teacuppoker" mucked their hand while Decastro jammed for 18,583 and "DonkNowitzki" called.

"DonkNowitzki": {j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}
