Imsirovic Rebuys After Running Into Liebert's Lucky Ladies

Level 9 : 140/280, 35 ante
Ali Imsirovic
Ali Imsirovic

A series of preflop raises saw Ali "SasukeUchiha" Imsirovic five-bet jam for 9,269 from middle position and Kathy "Luckygal" Liebert called from the button.

Kathy "Luckygal" Liebert: {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}
Ali "SasukeUchiha" Imsirovic: {10-Clubs}{10-Spades}

Liebert was ahead with her pair of queens and nothing changed after the {6-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{j-Clubs}{4-Spades}{8-Spades} board ran out as Imsirovic re-entered the tournament.

Welch Dodged Broadway for Double

Level 8 : 120/240, 30 ante

Fatima "fatroy" Askaryar limped-in from early position and Carlos "CarlosWelch" Welch raised to 800 on the button.

After the blinds folded, Askaryar four-bet to 2,300 and then called Welch's 22,129 five-bet jam.

Fatima "fatroy" Askaryar: {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}
Carlos "CarlosWelch" Welch: {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}

Welch was way ahead and the {4-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} flop improved his hand to a set of aces.

The {j-Spades} turn did give Welch a little sweat as it gave Askaryar a draw to Broadway but the river came the {7-Diamonds} and secured his double-up.

Level 7 : 100/200, 25 ante

Last week, PokerNews had the pleasure to follow around Phil Hellmuth for a day as he competed in the 2021 WSOP Online in quest of his record-extending 16th gold bracelet..
