Altman Takes From Arieh

Level 11 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Brian Altman raised from the button and got calls from both blinds, including Josh Arieh in the big blind.

On the {2-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{9-Spades} flop, the small blind checked and Arieh led out for 6,000. Altman called and the small blind got out of the way.

Both players checked the {j-Hearts} turn. Arieh checked again when the river came {8-Clubs}, and this time Altman put out a red 25,000 chip and a stack of purple 5,000 chips.

Arieh quickly folded.

Clock Winds Down on Kalev in Pot Versus Robinson

Level 10 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Picking up the action on the turn with the board showing {4-Spades}{q-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{2-Spades}, Colin Robinson bet 18,000 and Petar Kalev called in position.

Robinson bet 45,000 on the {8-Clubs} river, leaving himself about 15,000 behind.

Kalev went deep into the tank, deciding whether to commit half of his remaining stack.

"Top of my range," he said. "I want to call so much."

The clock was eventually called, and as the floor counted down to zero Kalev slid his hand into the muck. Robinson showed the {a-Spades} and took the pot.
