Lolis Spikes the Turn Against Affleck

Level 21 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Matt Affleck
Matt Affleck

Matt Affleck and David Lolis got into a raising war on a {8-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{a-Spades} flop that resulted in Lolis having the remainder of his chips in the middle.

Lolis showed {a-}{j-}, but Affleck had him dominated with {a-}{k-}. The {j-Clubs} on the turn, though, gave Lolis a big lead in the hand with two pair, and when the {q-Diamonds} came on the river he doubled to 1,600,000.

Affleck was down to 150,000 and got them all in a few hands later. Paul Moraes called from the next seat over before Daniel Weinman re-shoved for 385,000. Joshua Heintzl considered it for a moment before folding, as did Moraes.

Matt Affleck: {7-Clubs}{6-Clubs}
Daniel Weinman: {j-Clubs}{j-Spades}

Weinman made a straight on the turn as the board ran out {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}{10-Spades}{k-Spades}{3-Clubs}, and Affleck was sent to the rail.

Level 21 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Bertrand Grospellier
Bertrand Grospellier

Bertrand Grospellier was down to around 200,000 and got his stack in the middle with {a-Clubs}{10-Hearts} against the {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} of John Gorsuch.

The board ran out {5-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{3-Clubs}. Gorsuch thought they split the pot before the table reminded him that his queen-kicker played. The 2019 Millionaire Maker champion is up to 570,000, while Grospellier hit the rail in 32nd place.

Tristan Wade raised to 60,000 from the button and snap-called when Christian Harder shoved all in from the big blind for his last 525,000.

Christian Harder: {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}
Tristan Wade: {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}

Harder flopped the royal flush draw on {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}, but bricked out the {3-Clubs}{6-Spades} turn and river to hit the rail in 33rd place.

Wade, shortly after losing that massive pot to Jerry Wong, is back up to 2,000,000.

Wong Gets Wade to Fold in Two Million Chip Pot

Level 21 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

More than 500,000 was in the pot on a board of {9-Spades}{a-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{8-Spades} when Jerry Wong bet 200,000 from under the gun and Tristan Wade called from the button.

Wong moved all in for 790,000 on the {9-Hearts} and sent Wade deep into the tank. "Gonna show me the six of clubs?," Wade asked.

After more than five minutes, the clock was called. "I'm almost there," Wade said as the tournament floor arrived to count down 30 seconds. Wade eventually let his hand go as Wong scooped up the massive pot.

Wong Gets Away as Mowad Doubles Through Norton

Level 21 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Jerry Wong raised to 50,000 from the cutoff before Anthony Mowad moved all in from the small blind for 220,000. Derek Norton from the big blind then re-shoved for 375,000 from the big blind.

"How much is the bigger stack," Wong asked as he went into the tank for two minutes. He wound up folding, leaving Mowad and Norton heads-up.

Anthony Mowad: {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}
Derek Norton: {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}

Norton hit a pair of jacks on a board of {7-Hearts}{5-Spades}{5-Clubs}{j-Spades}{k-Spades}, but it wasn't enough to beat the queens of Mowad who doubled up to 510,000. Norton was left with 150,000.

Wong is sitting with 1,300,000, while Tristan Wade on the same table has 1,600,000.
