Matusow Wins One Against Eveslage

Level 18
Mike Matusow
Mike Matusow

Omaha Hi-Lo

Chad Eveslage raised from late position, and Mike Matusow called from the big blind.

The flop came {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{9-Hearts} and both players checked.

The turn was the {7-Clubs}. Matusow fired a bet and Eveslage called.

Matusow slowed down and checked on the {8-Diamonds} river, and Everslage checked back.

Matusow tabled {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}{6-Spades}{4-Spades} for a pair of kings, and that was enough because Eveslage tossed his cards into the muck.

Dehkharghani Eliminated by Benyamine

Level 18

Razz

Yuval Bronshtein completed with an ace and Ray Dehkharghani raised. David Benyamine reraised to force out Bronshtein and Dehkharghani got his chips in. When Dehkharghani revealed a {10-}{4-}{2-} and was shown the {5-}{4-}{9-} by Benyamine, Bronshtein jokingly asked if he could get the cards back.

Dehkharghani paired his deuce on fourth while Benyamine spiked a seven. From there on, Benyamine improved while Dehkharghani only got high cards to end up drawing dead on sixth. Benyamine ended up with an eight to reduce the field to the last 19 contenders.
