Bradley Ruben Eliminated One Off the Bubble

Level 16 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Bradley Ruben survived as long as he could with just 20,000 in chips, but finally had to put it in versus Eli Elezra.

Bradley Ruben: {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{6-Clubs}
Eli Elezra: {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{j-Spades}{4-Diamonds}

The board ran out {2-Hearts}{9-Spades}{j-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{7-Clubs} and Elezra's aces held up. Ruben was eliminated two away from the money.

Lewis Jams Into Zimnik

Level 16 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Until the {q-Hearts}{j-Spades}{5-Spades}{4-Diamonds} turn, a pot of 110,000 emerged and Toby Lewis checked. Nathan Zimnik bet the pot. Lewis in the small blind then jammed for another 313,000 on top of the bet and that sent Zimnik into a brief tank.

No call followed and Lewis collected the pot without showdown.

Heritsch Wins Small Three-Way Pot

Level 16 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

John Racener opened the action with a raise to 19,000 and was called by Brandon Schaefer on the button and Michael Heritsch in the small blind. They checked down the entire board of {k-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{8-Spades}{j-Clubs} and Heritsch announced "top two" before tabling the {k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}.

It was good enough to earn the pot as Racener and Schaefer both released their cards into the muck.

Level 16 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Robert Campbell moved all in for his last 71,000 chips in the small blind after a raise from Tommy Le, who called to put Campbell at risk.

Robert Campbell: {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}
Tommy Le: {q-Spades}{8-Clubs}{7-Spades}{5-Clubs}

Le caught a pair on the {9-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{4-Spades} flop, and remained ahead on the {2-Hearts} turn. Campbell then found a {k-Spades} on the river to stay alive, just a couple of spots from the money.

Short Stacks Near the Bubble

Level 16 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Only three more players need to be eliminated for the remaining players to reach the money.

Elezra Doubles Up Twice

Level 16 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Eli Elezra was all in preflop close to the money bubble, and found a call from Isaac Kempton.

Eli Elezra: {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{7-Spades}
Isaac Kempton: {a-}{k-}{8-}{3-}

Elezra was ahead with his pair of tens, and Kempton could not connect on the {q-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{j-Hearts} runout. Elezra's pair held to double up as the field closes in on the money.

Shortly after, Elezra got his remaining stack in on the flop against Leonid Yanovski.

Eli Elezra: {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{6-Spades}
Leonid Yanovski: {a-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{4-Hearts}

Elezra's pair of kings were ahead on the {j-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} flop, and turned into a full house with the {k-Diamonds} to lock up another double before the {8-Spades} on the river.
