Spurlin Busts Ahmadian, Doubles Hochman

Level 16 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

In a preflop all-in contest, Elia Ahmadian was the player at risk against Jordan Spurlin and both turned over premium holdings in the following showdown.

Elia Ahmadian: {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{7-Spades}
Jordan Spurlin: {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}

The board ran out {a-Spades}{j-Spades}{4-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} and Spurlin prevailed with the top set.

Soon after, Spurlin was eying another knockout when he looked up Corey Hochman after the {10-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{7-Clubs} flop.

Corey Hochman: {j-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{7-Hearts}
Jordan Spurlin: {a-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}

The {6-Clubs} turn and {4-Diamonds} river bricked and Hochman doubled with the superior straight.

Chidwick "Traps" Linde

Level 16 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Following a limp from Nader Younes, and a call from Dylan Linde in the small blind, Stephen Chidwick raised to 25,000, leaving himself a single 1,000 chip behind. Both Younes and Linde called to see a flop of {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}{3-Hearts}.

Action checked through, with Chidwick preserving that 1,000 chip.

On the {7-Spades} turn, Linde led out for 56,000 and Chidwick flicked in his lone yellow chip. Younes folded.

Stephen Chidwick: {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{4-Hearts}
Dylan Linde: {7-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{6-Hearts}

While Linde had turned a set, Chidwick had flopped top set, which held up following the {a-Diamonds} river.

"You trapped me", said Linde jokingly as Chidwick dragged the pot.

Gostisa is Doing Fine

Level 16 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Rok Gostisa
Rok Gostisa

Three ways to the {k-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{4-Spades} flop, the action checked to Keith Ferrera and he bet 25,000. Rok Gostisa called and so did Jim Collopy, both of which were in the blinds. The {j-Hearts} turn was checked and Gostisa bet the {9-Spades} river for just 16,000. Collopy was the only caller but mucked when he was shown the {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{j-Spades} by Gostisa.

He is doing fine in the tournament and wears a hoodie with the fitting slogan with "I'm fine."

Schaefer Catches Runner-Runner

Level 15 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Julian Milliard-Feral was all in after turning a straight on the {k-}{10-}{8-}{9-} board against Brandon Schaefer's set of kings.

Julian Milliard-Feral: {a-}{q-}{j-}{10-}
Brandon Schaefer: {k-}{k-}{x-}{x-}

Milliard-Feral was in good shape heading to river, but the {9-} gave Schaefer a full house and Milliard-Feral was sent to the rail shy of the money.

Sandrock Puts Chidwick on the Short Stack

Level 15 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Stephen Chidwick has been grinding a short stack most of the day, and he's recently been reunited with chip leader Chris Sandrock at his table.

In a recent pot, Sandrock raised to 20,000 from late position, and Chidwick opted to just call from the big blind, leaving himself just 25,000 behind.

The flop came {4-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}, and Chidwick opted to check. Sandrock quickly bet enough to potentially put Chidwick all-in, but he instead opted to fold and preserve his last few chips.

Shack-Harris Gets the Fold

Level 15 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Brandon Shack-Harris was facing a bet from Isaac Kempton after the {k-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{6-Hearts} runout and took his time before announcing a raise. Kempton then took some time to consider the call but mucked his cards as the chips slid to Shack-Harris.

Wolff and Guerra Go to War

Level 15 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Michael Wolff
Michael Wolff

Michael Wolff raised the button and called a three-bet to 48,000 by Lautaro Guerra in the big blind. The flop fell {j-Spades}{7-Hearts}{2-Spades} and Guerra bet 25,000 for Wolff to call. On the {10-Diamonds} turn, Guerra checked and Wolff bet the pot. That had Guerra's remaining stack of more than 110,000 covered and he called it off.

Lautaro Guerra: {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}{7-Spades}{7-Clubs}
Michael Wolff: {q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{8-Clubs}

Guerra's set and nut flush draw had plenty of outs but he missed them all on the {6-Hearts} river.
