Outhred Building a Big Stack

Level 5 : 300/500, 500 ante

Alex Outhred finished in sixth place in Event #33: $800 No-Limit Hold'em Deepstack last week and has 15 career WSOP cashes dating back to 2005. He's currently sitting on a big stack of 127,500 as he looks for a repeat appearance at the final table.

"I used to be famous," Outhred said as he counted his stack.

"He doesn't deserve any of it," a tablemate said in jest.

Petersen Knocks One Out, Leaves Greenstein Short

Level 5 : 300/500, 500 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

Evan Petersen bet 5,000 from middle position on a board of {7-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}. Barry Greenstein called from the hijack before the big blind moved all in for around 15,000. Both Petersen and Greenstein called.

The turn came the {7-Hearts} and Greenstein folded to a bet. Petersen turned over {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{7-Spades} for a full house, sevens over nines, and his opponent mucked his cards and got up from his seat even before the dealer showed the {3-Diamonds} on the river.

The action was picked up when JJ Liu was all-in on the river.

The board was showing {2-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{a-Spades} and it was at showdown.

Her opponent flipped over the {a-}{5-} for the two pair but Liu showed him the bad news with the {a-Hearts}{5-Hearts} for the nut flush and she scooped the pot to double up.

Robinson Flourishing On Second Bullet

Level 5 : 300/500, 500 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

Lukas Robinson, aka "Robin Poker," is already taking advantage of his second bullet in the tournament.

On his last hand, Robinson bet enough to put his opponent all in on the river with the board showing {6-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{q-Spades}{4-Hearts}{a-Spades}. His opponent made the call with {10-Spades}{6-Hearts}{4-Spades}{2-Hearts} for two pair, sixes and fours, but Robinson turned over {q-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{7-Clubs}{5-Clubs} for the turned straight to score the knockout.

"That's how you do it," a tablemate said to Robinson as the popular Twitch streamer dragged in the pot.

Pot Limit-Omaha

Maria Ho spotted in the Pavillion room and the action was picked up when she raised to 600 from under the gun.

The button and both blinds made the call to see the flop of {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{3-Clubs} and Ho made a continuation bet of 3,000.

The button and blinds all folded and Ho scooped the pot.

The well-known pro has lost about half her starting stack but she's a tough player to watch throughout the tournament.
