The flop of {7-}{j-}{7-} came out safe enough for the player at risk, but the turn and river brought {q-}{q-} giving the Lillge quad queens to crack the aces and bring the field to hand for hand play.

Tekavec Eliminates One More

Action picked up where Mark Tekavec had a player all-in and at risk.

The opponent left the table before the board was even dealt and the board in question brought no help to the player and he was eliminated to bring the field closer to the bubble.

Cernuto Abuses the Bubble

With the money bubble fast approaching, play has tightened up and "Miami" John Cernuto took full advantage.

A player in middle position raised to 9,000 and got four callers, including Cernuto on the button. The flop came {j-Spades}{7-Clubs}{9-Hearts}, and action checked around to Cernuto who bet 35,000.

Everyone folded as Cernuto climbed past 400,000. "I laid down a nice hand to you, sir," the players to his right said.
