Chartier Check-Raises Successfully

Level 6 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Following a flop of {k-Spades}{6-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}, Sam Chartier checked in the cutoff and Igor Zektser bet 10,000 on the button. Chartier then check-raised to 30,000 and that sent Zektser into the tank. He moved the chips and cards back and forth before eventually settling for a fold with around one third of the starting stack behind.

Joao Vieira

Chris Sandrock bet 43,000 on a board of {4-Spades}{2-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} and Joao Vieira moved all-in for around 135,000.

Sandrock weighed his options as Vieira stared at the board while a masseuse rubbed his neck.

"Can you choke him a little harder?" Sandrock joked before sending his cards into the muck.

Jamasi Builds His Stack Further

Level 6 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Three ways to the {10-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{q-Hearts} turn, JC Tran and Farhad Jamasi in the blinds called a bet by the cutoff. The {3-Clubs} river was checked by Tran and Jamasi with just the latter check-calling another bet of 23,000.

"You got it, ace king," the cutoff announced and Jamasi won the pot with the {k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{7-Spades} for queens and sevens.

Cheong Loses Small After Rivering a Set

Level 6 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Pj Cha raised to 3,000 in the cutoff and was called by Jan-Peter Jachtmann on the button and Joseph Cheong in the small blind. The flop came {5-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{2-Hearts} and the action checked around to the {10-Diamonds} on the turn.

Cha tossed in a bet of 7,000 which got Jachtmann to fold but Cheong stuck around for the {9-Clubs} on the river. Cheong led out with a bet of 15,000 and Cha just called. Cheong showed {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{9-Spades}{9-Hearts} for a set of nines but Cha held {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}{10-Spades}{10-Clubs} for a set of tens.

Zinno Wins a Side Pot

Level 6 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Anthony Zinno opened in early position and Chris Brewer raised behind him. One player called and a short stack then moved all-in for the size of Brewer's raise. Zinno and the other player both called.

The flop of {a-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} checked through and Zinno fired out a bet of 20,000 on the {9-Hearts} turn and just Brewer called.

Zinno and Brewer both then checked on the {a-Spades} river. Zinno tabled {9-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} for a straight, but was only entitled to the side pot as the all-in opponent held {a-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{4-}{2-Hearts} for aces full.

Hartman Triples, Kornuth Out

Level 6 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Ryan Hartman
Ryan Hartman

Three players saw a flop of {a-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{7-Diamonds} which stirred up plenty of action. George Wolff was the first to bet 12,500 from the cutoff and Chance Kornuth called on the button. Ryan Hartman check-raised the pot to 66,500 and Wolff jammed all in. Kornuth called off his stack of around 160,000 and Hartman called off his last 88,600 chips.

Ryan Hartman: {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}{4-Spades}{2-Diamonds}
Chance Kornuth: {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{8-Diamonds}
George Wolff: {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}

Each player had a big piece of the board but it was Hartman who locked up the main pot with the {7-Hearts} on the turn. The {9-Hearts} completed the board and Wolff took down the side pot, sending Kornuth to the rail.

Deeb Wins Another

Level 6 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Shaun Deeb in the small blind was in a heads-up pot against the player in the big blind.

Both players checked on the flop of {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{9-Spades} and Deeb threw out a bet on the {10-Hearts} turn, which his opponent called.

Deeb bet 5,000 when the {2-Spades} peeled off on the river and his opponent tossed his hand into the muck.

Weisman Nails the Nut Flush to Bust Brandes

Level 6 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Fabian Brandes
Fabian Brandes

Dylan Weisman raised to 3,500 and Eddie Ochana called from one seat over. Fabian Brandes then three-bet to 15,500 and Weisman reraised the pot to 52,000. Ochana folded and Brandes called to see the {k-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} flop. Weisman bet the pot, Brandes jammed for around 150,000 and was instantly called.

Fabian Brandes: {k-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}
Dylan Weisman: {a-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}

The {j-Clubs} turn changed nothing but the {3-Diamonds} river improved Weisman to the nut flush and sent Brandes to the rail.
