Matusow Puts Zinno in the Danger Zone

Level 14
Mike Matusow
Mike Matusow

In a battle of two of the shortest stacks on the bubble, Mike Matusow raised in the small blind into Anthony Zinno's big blind. Zinno called and each player drew two cards.

Matusow led out with a bet and got raised by Zinno. Matusow called, with the loser of this pot to become far and away the shortest stack in the room.

Both players then drew one, and this time Matusow check-called a bet from Zinno.

Matusow continued to draw one, while Zinno patted his hand in position.

Matusow then checked to Zinno, who also checked with just 20,000 left.

Matusow said he got there and showed {8-}{7-}{5-}{3-}{2-}, which indeed was good against Zinno's {10-}{5-}{4-}{3-}{2-}.

Aditya Prasetyo was all-in pre-draw versus Wil Wilkinson.

Wilkinson patted the whole way while Prasetyo needed to draw one card three times.

Wilkinson showed {8-}{7-}{6-}{5-}{3-}, while Prasetyo rolled over {8-}{6-}{4-}{2-}, drawing live on the end.

Unfortunately for Prasetyo, he drew a {q-}, eliminating him from the tournament, and bringing it to the stone bubble.

With nearly 50,000 in the pot and two draws complete, Nathan Gamble bet from the small blind and Mike Matusow called from the big blind.

Both players checked and Gamble turned over {9-}{8-}{6-}{4-}{3-}. Matusow flashed a {k-} and mucked the losing hand.

Wong Takes Twice From Deeb

Level 14
Danny Wong
Danny Wong

Danny Wong just claimed a pair of pots from Shaun Deeb that have vaulted him into the realm of chip leader.

Picking action up on the second round of a three-way hand with Wong, Deeb, and Jordan Siegel, Wong and Siegel drew one while Deeb patted.

Betting was then checked to Deeb who bet, and both his opponents called.

The drawing was identical on the final round, but this time it was Wong who led out into his two opponents. Siegel quickly folded, but after some deliberation, Deeb called.

Wong showed {7-}{6-}{5-}{4-}{2-} and Deeb mucked, claiming he had an eight-six.

Shortly after, Wong and Deeb played a heads-up pot with Deeb taking one on the first draw with Wong drawing two. Wong called a bet from Deeb, then drew one after Deeb patted.

Deeb again bet out, but was met with a raise from Wong. Deeb quickly tossed his cards into the muck, as Wong boosted his stack over 800,000 at the expense of the recent Pot-Limit Omaha High Roller champion.

Joshua Rhodes: {8-}{7-}{6-}{3-}{2-}

Shack-Harris Puts Rhodes on Short Stack

Level 14

Brandon Shack-Harris raised in first position and got called by Joshua Rhodes in the small blind.

Each player drew two, then Rhodes check-called a bet from Shack-Harris.

On the second draw, Rhodes drew one while Shack-Harris patted his hand.

After some deliberation and with a shrinking stack, Rhodes opted to call another bet and draw one card again, while Shack-Harris patted again.

After that final draw, Rhodes checked once more and faced a final 16,000 chip bet with just 20,000 remaining.

Rhodes folded, saying he could only beat a pure snow, preserving his tiny stack.

Brandon Shack-Harris raised from the button and Brian Yoon called from the big blind. Shack-Harris took two cards and Yoon took three.

Yoon checked the first draw and called a bet from Shack-Harris.

Shack-Harris took one card and Yoon drew three on the second draw.

Both players took one card on the third draw. Yoon bet and Shack-Harris went into the tank.

"I think you're really strong here," Shack-Harris said as he counted out calling chips.

Shack-Harris hesitantly called and mucked when Yoon turned over {9-}{6-}{5-}{4-}{2-} to take the pot with a number 22.
