Elezra Wins Three-Way Razz Hand

Level 4 : 500/1,500, 1,500 ante
Eli Elezra
Eli Elezra

Razz

Nacho Barbero: {x-}{x-} / {j-}{8-}{5-}{j-} / {x-}
Eli Elezra: {x-}{x-} / {10-}{8-}{5-}{10-} / {x-}
Chad Campbell: {x-}{x-} / {2-}{8-}{5-}{q-} / {x-}

Chad Campbell bet all the way from fourth to sixth and picked up reluctant calls by Nacho Barbero and Eli Elezra on sixth.

"If I had balls, I would raise you," Elezra said.

Campbell also bet seventh and Barbero raised, Elezra called and Campbell quickly folded.

Barbero rolled over the {a-}{6-}{2-} for an eight-six but Elezra had that beat with {4-}{3-}{2-} for an eight-five. The table discussed the hand for a while and Campbell mentioned he folded an eight-six smooth.

Kuznetsov Shows a Straight

Level 4 : 500/1,500, 1,500 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo

Matt Glantz raised from the hijack and was called by Ryan Leng on the button, Scott Seiver in the small blind, and Timofey Kuznetsov in the big blind.

Seiver led out on the {3-Spades}{q-Hearts}{7-Spades} flop and everyone called.

Action then checked to Matt Glantz, who bet on the {9-Diamonds} turn. Only Kuznetsov called.

The {8-Clubs} completed the board and Kuznetsov led out for a bet, which Glantz called.

Kuznetsov tabled {a-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{2-Spades} for a straight, which was good against the {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{j-Spades}{9-Spades} of Glantz for the entire pot.

One for Seiver; One for Glantz

Level 4 : 500/1,500, 1,500 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo

Matt Glantz bet the three-way flop of {q-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} flop out of the big blind and Ryan Leng raised, Scott Seiver called in the cutoff and Glantz called as well. They checked it down on the {5-Spades} turn and {7-Spades} river as Leng briefly showed {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}. Seiver had that beat with the {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} for the bottom two pair to win the pot.

Leng made up for the loss in the next hand when he made a flush on the {q-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{2-Spades} board, flashing his four cards including the {j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} as Yuval Bronshtein mucked.

Glaser Gets Big Value

Level 4 : 500/1,500, 1,500 ante

No-Limit 2-7 Single Draw

Benny Glaser opened to 5,000 under-the-gun and was three-bet by Naoya Kihara directly behind to 17,000. Glaser called.

Glaser drew one and Kihara stood pat. Glaser then led out for a hefty 51,000 bet and Kihara quickly called.

Glaser tabled {8-}{7-}{6-}{4-}{2-} for an eighty-seven and Kihara mucked — sending the pot Glaser's way.

Up to 36 Entries

Level 4 : 500/1,500, 1,500 ante

Another trio of players has joined the competition in Frank Kassela, Benny Glaser and Yuri Dzivielevski. The field size has now reached 36 entries of which 35 players currently remain in the fourth level of the day.

Yockey Takes From Campbell

Level 4 : 500/1,500, 1,500 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

On the river of a board {q-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{3-Spades}{q-Clubs}{9-Hearts}, Bryce Yockey bet 5,000 out of the big blind. Chad Campbell opted for a raise to 25,000 in the cutoff and that gave Yockey a headache for a short while. He then called and Campbell flashed {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}, which Yockey had beat with the {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}.

Kihara Chips Up Through Campbell

Level 4 : 500/1,500, 1,500 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

On a completed board of {10-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{7-Clubs}{4-Clubs}, Naoya Kihara bet 8,000. Robert Campbell then raised it up to 42,000 and Kihara gave it some thought before making the call. Campbell tabled the {k-Clubs}{q-Spades}{q-Hearts}{6-Spades} for a pair of queens and Kihara won the pot with the {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{9-Hearts} for the top two pair.

Ashton Doubles; Remains Very Short

Level 4 : 500/1,500, 1,500 ante

Seven Card Stud

Matthew Ashton: {a-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} / {a-Spades}{7-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{a-Diamonds} / {4-Spades}
John Monnette: {q-Spades}{10-Diamonds} / {8-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{5-Spades} / {j-Spades}

Matthew Ashton got his short stack in with a final bet on fifth street and John Monnette called for the last 2,500 required.

"Good luck, I hope I don't win it," Monnette said as he was trailing with no pair against a pair of aces.

Ashton then made a set on sixth to lock it up but he remains the far shortest stack in the field.
