Ball Snaps Off a Bluff To Double

Level 22 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Scott Ball
Scott Ball

Eric Meissonnier was in the tank with the board reading {5-Spades}{4-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{j-Clubs} and approximately 900,000 in the middle.

Meissonnier and his opponent Scott Ball on his left gave each other a few looks before Meissonnier shoved with the bigger stack.

Ball snap-called and tabled {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} for trip jacks, while Meissonnier was forced to show his {7-Clubs}{6-Spades} for a missed draw.

Sorel Mizzi Eliminates an Opponent

Level 22 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Sorel Mizzi
Sorel Mizzi

A bit of controversy happened when Sorel Mizzi raised 500K in early position and was re-raised by an opponent all-in for 895K.

Patrick Legrand in the small blind wanted to know if he could raise and what was the minimum he could raise so the floor was called.

Ultimately after the clock was called on Legrand when the floor explained the minimum raise amount he mucked his hand and Mizzi made the call to put his opponent at risk.

Opponent: {j-Clubs}{j-Hearts}
Sorel Mizzi: {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}

The board ran out {a-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{5-Diamonds} giving Mizzi an ace in the window on the flop and eliminating another opponent from the field.

Shutten Eliminates Patni

Level 23 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Brekstyn Schutten
Brekstyn Schutten

Kunal Patni went all-in for his remaining stack of about 500K and was quickly called by Brekstyn Schutten which was about half his stack to put Patni at risk for his tournament life.

Kunal Patni: {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts}
Brekstyn Schutten: {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}

Patni was in a bad position needing to catch one of the remaining jacks or a flush but the board ran out {2-Hearts}{5-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{9-Spades} which was no help to Patni and he was eliminated.
