Mamiya Finds a Double Up on Nelson

Level 30 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

Dustin Nelson raised to 325,000 and it folded to Matt Mamiya in the big blind, who tanked for some time. "Ok let's do it!" said Mamiya before moving all in for his last 1,130,000. Nelson called and they revealed their cards:

Matt Mamiya: {a-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}
Dustin Nelson: {q-Spades}{j-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}

The board fell {2-Spades}{6-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{k-Spades}{10-Hearts}, giving the winning hand and the double up to Mamiya with tens and an ace-kicker.

Amokrane Fills Up to Leave Nelson Short

Level 30 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

Action folded to Mourad Amokrane in the small blind who raised to 355,000. Dustin Nelson called out of the big blind and both players checked the {10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{10-Spades} flop.

The turn came the {j-Hearts} and Amokrane led out for 300,000. Nelson called to see the {j-Clubs} on the river. Amokrane this time assembled a bet of 800,000 and Nelson once again called.

Amokrane turned over {q-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{7-Clubs} for a full house, jacks full of eights, and Nelson mucked as Amokrane raked in another big pot at the final table.

Dustin Nelson

Matthew Mlsna announced pot for 560,000 from the cutoff and Mourad Amokrane called in the small blind. Dustin Nelson went all in for 600,000 total and both opponents called.

The flop came {5-Clubs}{8-Spades}{2-Clubs} and Amokrane bet 280,000. Mlsna called to create a side pot, and both players checked down the {10-Diamonds} turn and {q-Diamonds} river.

Mlsna had {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{5-Spades}{3-Spades} for a pair of fives and a missed flush draw, while Amokrane had {a-Hearts}{a-Spades}{9-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} for a pair of aces. Nelson could only produce {j-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{6-Spades}{2-Diamonds} and was eliminated in fifth place.

All three players checked the {q-Clubs}{3-Spades}{10-Spades} flop. The turn came the {4-Diamonds} and Mlsna led out for 450,000. Mamiya quickly folded, as did Amokrane as Mlsna showed two tens for the flopped set.

Level 31 : 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Matthew Humphrey had fallen to 300,000 and got them in the middle after Mourad Amokrane raised preflop.

Matthew Humphrey: {a-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{7-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}
Mourad Amokrane: {q-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{4-Spades}{2-Hearts}

Humphrey made a pair of aces on the {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{6-Clubs} flop and Amokrane didn't improve beyond a pair of nines as the board ran out {9-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}.

Triple Up for Mamiya

Level 31 : 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Matt Mamiya open-shoved for his last 540,000 and it was called by Mourad Amokrane on the button and Matthew Mlsna in the big blind. The flop revealed {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{7-Spades} and Amokrane sent 600,000 in the middle. Mlsna took a minute and let it go.

Matt Mamiya: {7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}
Mourad Amokrane: {9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{3-Clubs}

Mamiya had a set of sevens and the rest of the board didn't change anything with the {2-Clubs} and the {3-Diamonds} to give him the triple up. Mlsna said to the table he would have hit the straight.
