Alcorn Eliminated in Four-Way All-In

Level 2 : 200/300, 300 ante
Heather Alcorn
Heather Alcorn

Heather Alcorn had lost the vast majority of her stack when she flopped a set of kings and ran into a set of aces. She then shoved for very few chips and was called multiple ways. Three players stuck around to the {8-Hearts}{4-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{5-Spades} turn and that's when a four-way all-in showdown emerged.

Heather Alcorn: {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}
Chad Cullimore: {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}
Jeremy Heiskanen: {7-Spades}{6-Spades}
Mikki Mase: {a-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}

Mase was the biggest stack but Heiskanen had a lock on the entire pot with the turned nut straight and flush redraw. A meaningless {k-Hearts} river knocked out two players while Mase was left short.

Mase then got it in for 6,800 and Heiskanen called.

Mikki Mase: {j-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}
Jeremy Heiskanen: {q-Hearts}{j-Hearts}

Mase asked for a ten and got his wish granted on the {8-Spades}{6-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{10-Spades}{8-Diamonds} board to double his short stack.

Akopov Gets It In with Jacks

Level 2 : 200/300, 300 ante

Boris Akopov has been looking for action with his short stack for a few hands prior to open-shoving for just less than 13,000 from early position. An opponent in late position called.

Boris Akopov: {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}
Opponent: {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}

The board ran out {7-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} and the jacks held off big-slick to give Akopov the double.

Big Double for Lau

Level 2 : 200/300, 300 ante
Ka Kwan Lau
Ka Kwan Lau

Ka Kwan Lau was all-in on a completed board of {7-Spades}{3-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{2-Clubs} and his remaining stack by then was 34,000. Only Richard Geyer III was still to act and tank-called to get shown the {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds} by Lau, which won the pot as Geyer III mucked his cards.

According to the Spaniard, it was a three-way four-bet pot preflop in which he three-bet and then just called a four-bet to 8,000. Lau called a small bet on the flop and turn before they got it in after the river. Geyer III had been among the early big stacks and has seen his stack more than halved from the peak.

Vega Adds to Stack

Level 2 : 200/300, 300 ante

With 11,600 in the pot and five players seeing the {k-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} flop, Miguel Vega bet 3,600 in middle position and only an early position player continued.

The {8-Spades} saw a check-call by the early position player after a 5,000 bet by Vega.

Both players checked the {j-Spades} river and Vega showed {k-Spades}{10-Hearts} to take the pot and add the chips to his sizable stack.

Iadisernia Rivers Boat Over Flush

Level 3 : 200/400, 400 ante
Giuseppe Iadisernia
Giuseppe Iadisernia

Just before the break, with about 6,000 in the pot and a board of {9-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{8-Hearts}{6-Spades}, a player in the cutoff had bet 6,600. Giuseppe Iadisernia was in the small blind and jammed in his stack of 41,900. The cutoff player asked for a count and called.

Giuseppe Iadisernia: {6-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}
Cutoff: {k-Spades}{10-Spades}

Iadisernia found the perfect river card as it gave him a boat and his opponent a flush, and led to his double-up.
