Bargas Shows a King

Level 4 : 300/500, 500 ante

On a flop of {k-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} both Vince Bargas and his opponent checked.

The turn was the {2-Diamonds} and Bargas led out for 2,200. The opponent folded while she joked, "Do you have quads?" Paying attention to Bargas' run good as of recent as he flopped a royal flush just a couple of hours ago.

Bargas showed the {k-Clubs} before giving his cards back to the dealer.

Gjerde Gets Caught Bluffing

Level 4 : 300/500, 500 ante

The button raised to 1,100 and Joseph Sanders called in the small blind before Thomas Gjerde defended the big blind.

The dealer fanned a flop of {j-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{3-Spades} and all three players checked.

The {5-Spades} paired the board on the turn and after Sanders checked Gjerde bet 2,000. The button quickly folded and Sanders made the call.

On the {2-Spades} river, Sanders checked once again to Gjerde who fired out a bet of 5,000. Sanders pondered for about thirty seconds before making the call. Gjerde tabled {k-Clubs}{7-Hearts} for king-high and Sanders took the pot when he tabled {j-Hearts}{10-Clubs}.

Level 4 : 300/500, 500 ante
JC Tran
JC Tran

JC Tran raised to 2,200 and earned one call. The big blind then three-bet to 5,200 and was called by Tran only. The {7-Spades}{4-Clubs}{2-Spades} flop brought a continuation bet for 7,000 by the big blind and Tran called. He did so again for 11,000 on the {6-Hearts} turn and 11,000 on the {10-Diamonds} river to get shown the {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}.

Tran had that beat with the {q-Spades}{10-Spades} and earned the pot with the top pair.

"That's the first impressive thing I have seen from you," another player at the table remarked.
