Back and Forth between Grondin and Zoughari

Level 4 : 300/500, 500 ante
Moundir Zoughari
Moundir Zoughari

On the first hand, the flop showed {7-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{2-Clubs} in a three-way pot when Laurence Grondin bet and only Moundi Zoughari called. The turn was the {5-Diamonds} and Grondin sent another bet worth 8,000. This time Zoughari folded.

The hand right after, Grondin raised to 1,600 and called a three-bet from Zoughari for 5,100 in the hijack.

The flop brought {q-Hearts}{3-Spades}{k-Spades} and Grondin check-called Zoughari's continuation for 4,200. The same action happened on the {6-Diamonds} turn, this time for 8,400.

When the {j-Hearts} hit the river, Grondin checked one last time. Zoughari fired 40,000 and Grondin didn't take long to muck his hand.

Phan Pays One Off

Level 4 : 300/500, 500 ante

A completed board of {q-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{q-Hearts} was spread across the table with around 15,000 in the middle. John Phan checked from the big blind and his opponent tossed in a bet of 9,300.

Phan went into the tank for a minute, playing with his chips before finally splashing in the chips to call. His opponent whipped over {a-Clubs}{q-Spades} for trip queens and Phan sent his cards to the muck.

A player opened to 1,200 and only Davidi Kitai called in the big blind.

When the {k-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} flop came, Kitai check-called for 900 and both checked on the {8-Clubs} turn.

The {9-Diamonds} completed the board on the river and was checked again. Kitai revealed {a-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} and it was good enough as his opponent mucked his cards.

Demo Kiriopoulos
Demo Kiriopoulos

In one four-bet pot, Demosthenes Kiriopoulos was in early position and heads-up with the cutoff. The flop came {q-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{4-Diamonds} and Kiriopoulos led out for 11,300 into a pot of around 12,000. His opponent called and the {4-Spades} paired the board on the turn. Kiriopoulos jammed all in for 26,600 and his opponent mucked his cards.

A couple of hands later, there was a raise to 1,500 from under the gun and Kiriopoulos just called from the small blind. The big blind three-bet to 5,700 and the initial raiser called. Kiriopoulos stuck in a four-bet to 21,700 and got both of his opponents to fold.
