Grech Sets One Up

Level 7 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Zachary Grech
Zachary Grech

Action folded to the button who raised all in for 15,000 and Zachary Grech looked them from the big blind.

Opponent: {8-Spades}{8-Clubs}
Zachary Grech: {6-Spades}{6-Diamonds}

Grech was way behind until the {6-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{9-Hearts} fell giving him a set of sixes.

The {2-Spades} turn kept Grech ahead, as did the {3-Spades} river and he eliminated his opponent from the Main Event.

Yoon Spikes the River Double

Level 7 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Brian Yoon
Brian Yoon

Brian Yoon was among two players to call an open raise and then bet the {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} flop for 3,000. He earned one call and Roman Hrabec then check-raised to 10,000. Yoon jammed for 26,400 and the third player folded for Hrabec to snap-call.

Brian Yoon: {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}
Roman Hrabec: {q-Clubs}{10-Hearts}

The {a-Diamonds} turn provided some split opportunities but the {9-Hearts} river instead secured the full double.

Squire eventually called and then called bets worth 9,000 on the {q-Clubs} turn and 14,500 on the {6-Spades} river. Fuhs rolled over the {8-Spades}{7-Clubs} for trips eights and claimed the pot.

Set of Tens for Downs

Level 7 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Robert Downs saw a flop against two opponents in a three-bet pot with approximately 20,000 in the middle.

The first opponent checked on the flop of {10-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} and the middle position player bet 13,000. Downs raised to 43,000 and the action folded to the middle position player, who thought for a minute and then called.

Both players checked on the {5-Diamonds} turn and the middle position player checked on the {9-Clubs} river. Downs threw out a quarter-pot bet of 27,000 and the opponent tanked before eventually calling.

Downs showed {10-Clubs}{10-Spades} for a flopped set and the opponent mucked.

"King?" Downs asked his opponent.

"Better," she replied.

Clock Called Twice on Tang

Level 7 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Steven Rivero raised to 2,000 from the cutoff only to be faced with a 6,000 three-bet Ian Tang made from the button.

Action folded back to Rivero who four-bet to 15,000 and Tang called bringing the two heads-up to the {5-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{a-Hearts} flop.

Rivero continued for 7,000 and Tang quickly called.

The {2-Spades} fell on the turn and Rivero fired out 11,000. The bet sent Tang into the tank and after a clock was called, Tang called to see the {5-Hearts} pair the board on the river.

Rivero quickly jammed putting Tang's stack at risk sending him deep into the tank once again.

After a rough few minutes, another clock was called but this time, Tang mucked his hand and Rivero collected the pot.

Miracle River for Kozenkai

Level 7 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Javier Gomez cold-called a raise and then called the all-in by Bjorn Kozenkai for the last 9,200.

Kozenkai flipped with the {4-Spades}{4-Clubs} as Gomez turned over {j-Clubs}{10-Clubs}. The Spaniard turned the nut straight on the {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} turn but the {4-Diamonds} river saved Kozenkai.
