Martinet Doesn't Believe Bonomo, Sends Him Packing

Level 13 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Justin Bonomo
Justin Bonomo

A completed board of {q-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{5-Spades}{2-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} was spread across the felt with Justin Bonomo and Johan Martinet heads-up in the pot. Bonomo checked to Martinet who bet 25,000 into a pot of around 50,000. Bonomo over-bet shoved all in for 204,000, putting Martinet in the tank.

Martinet had Bonomo covered but it was still a tough decision for a healthy amount of his chips. After a few minutes passed, Martinet finally made the call. Bonomo turned over {4-Spades}{4-Diamonds} as he stood up from his seat. Martinet held {10-Spades}{10-Clubs} and that was enough to send Bonomo to the rail.

Ring Makes the Correct Call

Level 13 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

David Ring in early position three-bet after an under the gun raise and the small blind flat-called, as did the initial raiser.

All three players checked on the flop reading {8-Spades}{3-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} and the small blind led out with a bet of 30,000 on the {3-Diamonds} turn, which only Ring called.

The small blind fired a bet of 55,000 on the {3-Diamonds} river and Ring thought about it before calling. His opponent showed a bluff with {5-Spades}{4-Spades} and Ring showed ace-high with {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs} to win the pot.

Miracle River Gets Young Back In Seat

Level 13 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Justin Young
Justin Young

Justin Young moved all-in preflop for 121,000 on top of a raise from Ehsan Amiri. Amiri gave it some thought and called.

Justin Young: {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades}
Ehsan Amiri: {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}

Amiri took the lead on the flop of {6-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{8-Clubs} and Young was out of his seat by the time the {8-Clubs} peeled off on turn.

"Good luck, guys," Young said and began walking off.

But Young turned around when the table erupted as the {k-Clubs} peeled off on the river to give him the best hand and save him from elimination.

"The get-up works!" Young said. "The get-up always works."

Young and Amiri have a history as the latter player three-bet the former with a light holding a few orbits earlier.

Squire Leaves Cowen Stunned

Level 13 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Daniel Fuhs had opened from under the gun and was called by Brock Squire and Robert Cowen, the latter of which was in the big blind. The trio checked the {5-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{4-Spades} flop and the {j-Spades} turn was checked to Squire. He bet 30,000 and Cowen check-raised to 76,000 for Fuhs to fold.

Squire went into the tank and then jammed for 268,000 total, which sent Cowen into the tank himself. He eventually folded the {5-Hearts} face-up and Squire flashed the {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} to leave his opponent stunned.

Underwood Bets the Turn and River

Level 13 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Benjamin Underwood raised to 8,500 in early position and was called by only the big blind. The flop came {10-Spades}{5-Spades}{3-Spades} and the big blind led out with a bet of 4,000 which Underwood called.

The turn brought the {10-Hearts} and the big blind checked this time. Underwood made a bet of 9,000 and his opponent called. Before the {a-Spades} hit the river, the big blind checked in the dark which led to Underwood throwing in a bet of 30,000. The big blind quickly folded and Underwood raked in the pot.
