Spencer Takes Out Gavasci

Level 20 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Martin Gavasci was spotted standing up and collecting his things as his losing hand of the {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs} was showing on a board of the {4-}{9-}{k-}{9-}{9-}.

Lewis Spencer was the beneficiary as he had the winning hand with the {k-}{k-} and added the haul of chips to his stack.

Kniep Gets Through With a Bluff

Level 20 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Andreas Kniep
Andreas Kniep

A raise to 120,000 was in front of Andreas Kniep on the button and the cutoff then made it 365,000 to go. Kniep tanked and apologised to the table before making the call. Both checked the {a-Spades}{8-Clubs}{6-Spades} flop and the cutoff also checked the {2-Diamonds} on the turn. Kniep now bet 200,000 and earned a fold to table the {k-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} for a bluff.

"I knew you had a bluff," Fernando Rodriguez from one seat over joked.

Kniep replied with a dry: "I learned that from you."

Alafogiannis Wins One in an Odd Way

Level 20 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Chris Alafogiannis
Chris Alafogiannis

Chris Alafogiannis opened to 40,000 from under the gun and the player on his left, sitting on the other side of the dealer, three-bet to 140,000. The action folded back to Alafogiannis but the dealer already decided to ship the pot to the three-better. He tabled the {j-Spades}{j-Clubs} face up but there was still action pending.

Alafogiannis opted to just call and the dealer fanned the flop of {9-Spades}{6-Hearts}{4-Clubs}. Alafogiannis checked and his opponent pushed all in for 217,000 on the nine-high flop. Alafogiannis snap-called and showed the {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} which had his opponent pipped.

The {3-Diamonds} on the turn and the {2-Hearts} on the river changed nothing and Alafogiannis eliminated his opponent.

Eriquezzo Felted

Level 20 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Ryan Eriquezzo
Ryan Eriquezzo

The action folded to Ryan Eriquezzo who raised to 230,000 from the small blind and the big blind called.

Ryan Eriquezzo: {a-Spades}{2-Diamonds}
Opponent: {5-Spades}{5-Diamonds}

Eriquezzo was behind needing help but the {2-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} flop only paired his deuce.

The {j-Hearts} turn was no help and the blank {k-Spades} river ended Eriquezzo's Main Event.

Weissman Leaves Clark on Crumbs

Level 20 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Ryan Clark once had a chip stack of over 2,000,000 but his recent table change has not gone so well. After losing a majority of his chips just moments ago, Clark was back at it when he and Joey Weissman got all of their chips in the middle preflop.

Joey Weissman: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}
Ryan Clark: {j-Spades}{j-Hearts}

It was a coin flip and Weissman took the lead on the {k-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} flop. The {7-Spades} on the turn and the {a-Spades} on the river provided no help to Clark who sent over a double-up of 267,000 chips.

Strehl Finds Aces

Level 20 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Christoph Strehl was dominating his at risk opponent holding the {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs} vs the {7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}.

The board ran out peacefully for the aces as it came {4-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{6-Spades}{9-Hearts} to give Strehl a decent boost as the night winds near a close.

Chang Calls Plante's River Bet

Level 20 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

With about 325,000 in the pot on a completed board of the {9-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}, Kyle Chang was facing a jam by Santiago Plante for all of Chang's 387,000 effective stack. He went into the tank and ultimately called.

Plante could only show {q-Spades}{4-Clubs} which was no good against the {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} of Chang as he took the pot to chip up over a million.

Hasson Loses Flip to State

Level 20 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Gary Hasson
Gary Hasson

Gary Hasson had previously jammed his short stack and collected the blinds and big blind ante. He just now moved all-in once more from the hijack and Adrian State on the button asked for a count. The shove was for 315,000 and State then announced to be all-in himself.

"I am all out," Tristan Wade in the small blind said and Chase Bianchi got out of the way in the big blind.

Gary Hasson: {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}
Adrian State: {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}

The {k-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{2-Spades} flop immediately improved State to the superior pair and he remained in the lead throughout the {4-Spades} turn and {2-Diamonds} river.

DeLaGarza Doubles With Cowboys

Level 20 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

A player jammed in early position and Live at the Bike! commentator JJ DeLaGarza called off his stack of 286,000 from the hijack and was at risk.

JJ DeLaGarza: {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}
Opponent: {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}

DeLaGarza was well ahead and stayed ahead as the {a-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{q-Clubs} board ran out to improve him to an unnecessary nut flush and double up his stack.
