Small Pot for Chidwick to Begin the Day

Level 16 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Stephen Chidwick
Stephen Chidwick

Stephen Chidwick was still picking up his chips and stacking as he was forced to put his big blind in play. Lukas Volman raised to 20,000 in middle position and Chidwick defended his big blind.

The flop came {j-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{3-Spades} and both players checked to the {7-Hearts} on the turn. Chidwick led out with a bet of 15,000 and Volman called to see the {2-Spades} on the river. Chidwick fired another bet of 20,000 and Volman quickly let his hand go this time.

Dowling Forces Fold from Yea

Level 16 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Steve Yea raised to 21,000 in the cutoff and Chris Dowling filled up from the big blind. On a flop of {8-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{4-Hearts}, Dowling opted to check-call a bet worth 12,000 and checked again the {5-Clubs} on the turn. Yea now bet 38,000 and Dowling's check-raise to 90,000 did the trick to award the pot to the Irishman.

Lewis Doubles Through Krassowski

Level 16 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Romain Lewis had to forfeit the blinds and then three-bet jammed for the last 37,000. "I can't fold, I have too much in there already," Alan Krassowski said and called as the initial raiser in the cutoff.

Romain Lewis: {a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}
Alan Krassowski: {k-Hearts}{7-Hearts}

The board ran out {a-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{6-Clubs} and Lewis doubled early on. In the meanwhile, Peter Robinson has been eliminated and departed in 985th place.

Shuffle Up and Deal Day 4

Level 16 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Day 4 of the 2021 Main Event is underway with an even 1,000 players in the money to start the day. Expect the bust-outs to come fast and furious as the many short stacks who survived into the money will be putting their tournament lives at risk shortly.
