Remitio Eliminates Two Players

Level 24 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Joshua Remitio
Joshua Remitio

Andrew Dick got the rest of his 700,000 or so stack in preflop against Joshua Remitio.

Andrew Dick: {7-Spades}{7-Hearts}
Joshua Remitio: {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

Dick was looking for a seven to survive, but the board ran out {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{2-Hearts} to send him to the payout desk.

Shortly after, George Wong tried his luck against Remitio by getting his stack of about 1,280,000 in preflop against him.

George Wong: {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}
Joshua Remitio: {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}

Wong was in better shape than Remitio's previous victim but still needed to improve. The {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{4-Spades} flop didn't help, and neither did the {j-Spades} turn. The {q-Hearts} completed the board to send Wong to the rail and send more chips to Remitio.

It's Always Coming Seven After All

Level 24 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
John Gonzalez
John Gonzalez

John Gonzalez ended up all-in before the flop against Jonas Hagstrom and the Punters Pad crew on the rail assembled for the flip.

John Gonzalez: {7-Spades}{7-Clubs}
Jonas Hagstrom: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}

The {k-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{2-Spades} flop propelled Hagstrom in the lead but Gonzalez predicted that the seven would come. That wasn't the case on the {6-Diamonds} turn but the {7-Diamonds} fell on the river.

"The seven is always coming. It's table 477," Ehsan Amiri joked. Gonzalez doubled for 880,000 and essentially traded the stack sizes with Hagstrom.

Onikoul Takes Out Painter

Level 24 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Arkadi Onikoul opened to 100,000 in the cutoff and called when Jameson Painter three-bet shoved a stack of 315,000 on the button.

Jameson Painter: {a-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}
Arkadi Onikoul: {k-Spades}{5-Spades}

Painter was ahead after the flop of {3-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{3-Spades} but Onikoul took the lead on the {k-Diamonds} turn with a pair of kings. Painter needed a diamond or an ace to stay alive but the {q-Hearts} on the river didn't do it for him and he was eliminated.

Millstein Doubles Through Amiri

Level 24 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

A completed board of {k-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} was spread out across the table with around 800,000 in the middle. The action was on Ehsan Amiri in middle position who bet 325,000.

Jacob Millstein check-raised to 1,115,000, leaving himself with just 710,000 behind. Amiri thought for a minute and then shoved all in, having Millstein covered.

Millstein committed a large portion of his stack already but still needed some time to think. After nearly a minute, Millstein stuck in the last of his chips and Amiri turned over {k-Clubs}{10-Hearts}. Millstein showed {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} for a full house and was awarded the pot.

"Sorry, I thought you had kings for sure," Millstein apologized.

Rigby Near Nine Million After Eliminating Flood

Level 24 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Nicholas Rigby
Nicholas Rigby

Nicholas Rigby opened to 125,000 in early position and Benjamin Armstrong called as the next player to act, while David Flood called from the big blind.

All three players checked on the flop of {5-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{9-Hearts} and Flood checked on the {2-Hearts} turn. Rigby bet 305,000 and Armstrong called, while Flood check-raised all-in for 990,000. Rigby re-raised to 1,650,000 and Armstrong folded.

David Flood: {j-Hearts}{9-Spades}
Nicholas Rigby: {7-Hearts}{6-Hearts}

Flood had two pair while Rigby was on a flush and straight draw. The river brought the {10-Hearts} and Rigby made his flush to eliminate Flood as his rail erupted in celebration.

"You're about to see that on PokerNews!" someone on the rail shouted.

Hudon Turns Lucky Cowboy for Double

Level 24 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Eliot Hudon raised all in for 515,000 from middle position and action folded around to Ryan Roeder who looked him up from the big blind.

Eliot Hudon: {k-Hearts}{q-Spades}
Ryan Roeder: {q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}

Hudon had Roeder dominated until the {10-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{5-Spades} flop fell pairing his ten.

Luckily for Hudon, the dealer didn't make him sweat to long as they dropped the {k-Spades} on the turn to put him back out front.

The {2-Hearts} was a meaningless river and Hudon quickly collected his double.

McEwen Wins Four-Bet Pot on the Flop

Level 24 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Omar Saeed raised to 100,000 and Ran Shahar then three-bet to 250,000 from one seat over in the hijack. Preston McEwen four-bet to 685,000 on the button and Saeed folded. Shahar gave it some thought and filled up to then check the {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} flop. McEwen bet 435,000 and that won the pot without further resistance.

Shahar won some chips back in the next hand when Craig Schauer failed to hit anything with ace-jack as Shahar prevailed with pocket sevens.

Amiri Takes Another Hit

Level 24 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Ehsan Amiri raised and instantly called the three-bet shove by the table short stack Raul Manzanares from one seat over.

Raul Manzanares: {j-Hearts}{j-Spades}
Ehsan Amiri: {k-Clubs}{k-Spades}

Amiri was ahead with the superior pocket pair but the {j-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{q-Spades}{7-Clubs} board gave Manzanares a set of jacks to double, putting yet another dent into the stack of Amiri.
