Hands #74-78: A Double and Some More for Secilmis

Level 38 : 600,000/1,200,000, 1,200,000 ante
Ozgur Secilmis
Ozgur Secilmis

Hand #74: Hye Park raised to 2,400,000 and won the blinds and big blind ante.

Hand #75: Koray Aldemir raised to 2,400,000 from under the gun to collect the blinds and big blind ante.

Hand #76: Ozgur Secilmis jammed for the final 5,300,000 in the hijack and was called by Aldemir in the big blind.

Ozgur Secilmis: {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}
Koray Aldemir: {4-Spades}{4-Diamonds}

The {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{8-Spades} flop improved Secilmis to the superior pair and the {j-Hearts} turn changed nothing whatsoever. Another blank came on the {3-Clubs} river as Secilmis doubled his severe short stack once more.

Hand #77: Park made it 2,400,000 to go on the button and Jack Oliver defended the big blind. On a flop of {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{4-Spades}, Oliver checked his option and Park took 45 seconds before leading for 1,800,000. The call by Oliver followed, who then checked again the {2-Hearts} on the turn and was checked back by Park.

On the {6-Clubs} river, both players checked and Oliver won the pot with the {a-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} for the top pair.

Hand #78: Oliver limped the small blind and Secilmis checked his option in the big blind. The {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}{6-Clubs} flop brought a bet worth 1,200,000 by Oliver and Secilmis called. After the {4-Diamonds} turn, both players checked and the {3-Hearts} river completed the board.

Oliver now checked once more and Secilmis bet 3,800,000 for Oliver to fold.

Hand #67: Joshua Remitio raised to 2,400,000 from under the gun and he earned a call from the run-away chip leader Koray Aldemir in the cutoff. The flop fell {k-Spades}{6-Clubs}{5-Clubs} and Aldemir bet 3,200,000 in order to shut down Remitio's ambitions for this hand.

Hand #68: Down to the last 5,300,000, Ozgur Secilmis moved all-in on the button and won the blinds and big blind ante as the {k-Spades}{5-Spades} were briefly exposed.

Hand #69: Jack Oliver raised to 2,400,000 and George Holmes three-bet to 5,200,000 on the button. Oliver then four-bet jammed for 25,300,000 and Holmes folded within 11 seconds.

Hand #63: Aldemir min-raised again, this time from under the gun, and George Holmes was the only one willing to battle on the button. The flop came {3-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}, Aldemir continued with a bet of 4,000,000 for Holmes to give up.

Hand #64: Aldemir got a walk.

Alejandro Lococo Eliminated in 7th Place ($1,225,000)

Level 37 : 500,000/1,000,000, 1,000,000 ante
Alejandro Lococo
Alejandro Lococo

Hand #61: Alejandro Lococo raised to 2,000,000 and Koray Aldemir three-bet to 5,600,000 in the cutoff. The call by Lococo after 39 seconds followed and the {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{9-Clubs} flop appeared, which Lococo checked. Aldemir made it 3,900,000 to go and Lococo came along to the {8-Hearts} turn.

Another quick check by Lococo followed and Aldemir now fired a larger bet worth 11,400,000, which Lococo called once more. The Argentinian checked the {3-Diamonds} river in an instant and Aldemir took one minute and 33 seconds before firing a large bet for more than the pot.

Within just 14 seconds, Lococo called all-in for the 46,100,000 he had behind and Aldemir tabled the {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} for nines full of jacks. Lococo's {10-Clubs}{10-Spades} went down in flames and the Argentinian was eliminated in 7th place for $1,225,000.

Hands #57-60: Up and Down for Aldemir

Level 37 : 500,000/1,000,000, 1,000,000 ante

Hand #57: Alejandro Lococo raised to 3,000,000 out of the small blind and earned the big blind and big blind ante without resistance.

Hand #58: Lococo raised to 2,000,000 on the button and Koray Aldemir defended out of the big blind. The {8-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{5-Spades} flop brought a bet worth 1,600,000 by Aldemir after some 49 seconds and Lococo called within 30 seconds. The {7-Hearts} on the turn paired the board and both players checked to the {k-Spades} river.

Some 41 seconds passed as Aldemir opted to check and Lococo cut out a bet worth 2,800,000, which was instantly called by Aldemir. Neither of the cards were shown but Aldemir won the pot to increase his lead once more.

Hand #59: Joshua Remitio made it 2,000,000 to go and Aldemir filled up from the small blind, which led them to the {k-Spades}{q-Spades}{j-Diamonds} flop. Both players checked to the {q-Diamonds} turn which paired the board and brought a second flush draw. No betting action followed as the {3-Hearts} river completed the board.

Aldemir checked once more and Remitio checked back for the former to table the {6-Clubs}{6-Spades}. Remitio had that beat with the {a-Spades}{j-Clubs} and won the pot much to the applause of his rowdy rail.

Hand #60: Lococo raised to 2,000,000 in the hijack and earned the blinds and big blind ante.
