Megna Wakes Up With Aces, Tobin Gets Away Unharmed

Level 20 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

Patrick Megna raised pre-flop before Roy Sanam re-raised from the button. In the small blind, Dave Tobin went into the tank for a few moments before making a reluctant fold.

Megna four-bet and Sanam called to see the {4-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{10-Spades} flop. Megna bet, Sanam raised, Megna re-raised, and Sanam snap-called.

"You called quicker than I bet," Megna said as he put out another bet on the {8-Spades} turn. Sanam called and Megna bet dark before the {2-Hearts} came on the river. Sanam called.

"Aces," Megna said, turning over {a-Hearts}{a-Spades}. Sanam flashed two kings before mucking.

"I had queen-ten of diamonds. Look at that flop," Tobin said following the hand after he would've flopped top pair and a flush draw.

Garzon Makes Quads; Eliminates One

Level 20 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

Francisco Garzon and Michael Moncek both put 30,000 in before the flop, while a player in the middle was all-in for 19,000.

The dealer fanned a flop of {j-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{7-Hearts} and Moncek check-called a bet from Garzon.

The {7-Diamonds} peeled off on the turn and Moncek check-called once again.

The {j-Diamonds} completed the board and Moncek led into Garzon with a bet. Garzon responded with a raise and Moncek called.

Garzon instantly tabled {j-Spades}{j-Hearts} for quad jacks, Moncek mucked and the all-in player showed {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} before heading to the payout desk.

Zhu Leads Into Zinno

Level 20 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

Yueqi Zhu raised from early position and received calls from Anthony Zinno in the cutoff and Jacob Ferro on the button.

The flop came {9-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{8-Hearts} and Zhu continued with a bet. Zinno raised and Zhu called while Ferro got out of the way.

Both players checked the {9-Spades} turn before Zhu led out on the {k-Spades} river. Zinno paused for about a minute before calling.

Zhu showed him the {q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} and Zinno tapped the felt before mucking his hand.

With three players in the pot, the turn read {10-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} and Steven Wolansky bet first to act. Both Ryan Hansen and Bradley Garnder made the call.

The {6-Diamonds} landed on the river and Wolansky and Hansen checked to Gardner who tossed in a bet. Wolansky called and Hansen mucked.

"King high," said Gardner as he tabled {k-Spades}{9-Spades}. Wolansky showed the {j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} for a pair of jacks and the pot was shipped his way.

Nikouie Just Flats With the Nut Straight

Level 20 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

Kerry Welsh was all in from the button with a side pot of 26,000 between Nicholas Pupillo and Damoun Nikouie.

The flop came {10-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{8-Hearts} and Nikouie check-called a bet. Pupillo bet again on the {7-Spades} turn and Nikouie stuck around to the river.

The river was the {k-Clubs} and Nikouie again check-called.

Pupillo showed {j-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} for a straight on the turn, but Nikouie had {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} for the rivered straight. Welsh showed {k-}{q-} and was eliminated.

"You didn't raise? Oh, I didn't see the flush," tablemate Dennis Kim said after the hand.
