Foxen All In

Level 27 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Alex Foxen
Alex Foxen

Alex Foxen was all in for 535,000, and called by Michael Scarborough.

They flipped and it was a pocket versus over cards.

Alex Foxen: {k-Spades}{q-Spades}
Michael Scarborough: {7-Spades}{7-Clubs}

The flop got a reaction from everyone at the table when it came {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{7-Hearts}, and Scarborough was in the lead after flopping a set.

Foxen still had outs, and one of them hit on the {10-Hearts} turn, giving Foxen the broadway straight.

Scarborough was asking the dealer to pair the board so he could fill up and overtake the straight of Foxen, but the {8-Hearts} on the river made it official and Foxen doubled up.

Benjamin Palmer Eliminated in 16th Place ($22,722)

Level 28 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Benjamin Palmer
Benjamin Palmer

Benjamin Palmer pushed his 710,000 stack in the middle, and Joey Weissman was the only player to look him up before the flop.

Benjamin Palmer: {k-Diamonds}{j-Spades}
Joey Weissman: {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}

The flop was {2-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{5-Clubs}, and Weissman's preflop pair became three of a kind. Palmer would need running cards to improve, and the {6-Clubs} brought chop options.

However when the {3-Diamonds} finished the board, Palmer was eliminated from the tournament.

Miscikowski Tanks and Folds on the River

Level 28 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Lander Lijo raised to 160,000 from the middle position in the last hand of the previous level and David Miscikowski defended his big blind.

The flop came {8-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}, Miscikowski check-raised the 110,000 bet of Lijo to 275,000 and was called.

The turn was the {a-Spades} and Miscikowski bet 425,000 which Lijo called.

The river completed the board with the {k-Clubs} and Miscikowski tanked for a while before opting to check. Lijo bet 275,000 to send Miscikowski back into the tank. After a minute or two, he opted to fold.

Foxen Doubles Up

Level 28 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Alex Foxen
Alex Foxen

"How much do you have?", Alex Foxen asked Michael Scarborough.

Before he answered, Foxen thanked him before pushing all in for 1,490,000.

Scarborough took minutes before responding, but did call Foxen's all in.

Alex Foxen: {k-Spades}{q-Clubs}
Michael Scarborough: {a-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}

The flop was exactly what Foxen wanted {k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}.

It only got better from there as he turned the {k-Diamonds} for a full house, and scored the full double up, with a meaningless {2-Clubs} on the river to make it official.
